Well-packpapier, -papier, n. corrugated paper, -pappe, /. corrugated (paper)board. -rad, n. wheel and axle arbor wheel, -rohr, n. corrugated tube or pipe. 

Corrugated materials involving several plies of paper consist of facings and steamed and formed layer(s) of corrugated paper. They may exist as single-faced or double-faced (a, b, c, e flute types) double-wall or triple-wall materials. The latter contain two and three corrugated layers. 

Contaminant removal processes depend on the type and source of secondary fiber to be pulped. Mill paper waste can be easily repulped with minimal contaminant removal. Recycled postconsumer newspaper, on the other hand, may require extensive contaminant removal, including deinking, prior to reuse. Secondary fiber is typically used in lower-quality applications such as multiply paper-board or corrugating paper. 

The use of rotary desiccant wheels for dehydration has been practiced for several decades. Carl Munters [13] created the first rotary adsorbers by impregnating corrugated paper with LiCl and then ran the rotor using direct heat exchange to regenerate the sorbent. More recently Munters, NTI and others have developed improved adsorbents for rotary dehydrators. 

Corrugated-paper sleeves, consisting of a whole number of turns of corrugated paper of sufficient thickness to fill the annular space between the inner part and the jacket, are frequently used. Their employment is limited to reasonably long apparatus since the paper will char and emit smoke if it is too near the heated zone. The sleeve length should be such that the end projects beyond the inner part and so can be used to withdraw the paper when the ring seal is completed. 

The method of assembly described above eliminates the need for packing supports in contact with the surfaces to be silvered, and avoids the possibility of contamination of these surfaces by the supports (such as asbestos tape or corrugated paper). 

The outer jacket of the condenser and the boiler are now cut to length. The mercury vapour tube and jets are supported in the centre of the condenser with corrugated paper, or with a suitable number of layers of ordinary paper. 

The classroom should be provided with a set of cork borers and a sharpener, a glass-cutting machine with a mbber-bonded carborundum wheel, a roll of corrugated paper, some asbestos paper tape and asbestos cord, a diamond glass-cutter, any other special tools and accessories that the instmctor thinks will be worth showing to his classes. 

The fibers from the fiber-shredding units fall into a fleece shaft with a perforated conveyor belt at the bottom. The fibers are deposited as a thick fleece due to the application of a slight vacuum. A lubricating oil emulsion (e.g. vegetable oil) is added to the fleece shaft to reduce the frictional forces and hence the chafing of fibers. In the absence of binders the fibers can be used as loose wool or stitched or nailed onto a support, such as wire gauze, crepe paper or corrugated paper, into mats. 

The company financial performance reflected a lower pretax margin as well as lower returns on assets and equity (see Table 7.11). Sales were down from 1997 by about 500 million, resulting in lower operating income as shown in Table 7.12 The median returns (Table 7.23) for 21 forest products companies are low compared with other companies in the CPI (Table 7.24). International Paper s returns are low compared with other forest product companies. International Paper in years past has had a more profitable record, but the restructuring expenses and lower sales in 1998 reflect lower financial performance. Projected price increases for paper, corrugated paper, and printing papers should help sales increase, however.

A mixture of three newspaper issued in Korea was used as substrate. Office paper and corrugated paper were arbitrarily selected from our lab. Paper sample was cut into approx. O.SxO.S cm pieces. The nonionic sur ctants (TCI, Japan) used in this study were listed in Table I.
