Consistency Display

Acids consistently display low solubility in DMSO. In our Pfizer studies we found acids to be 4 times more likely to have poor DMSO solubility of less than 5pgmL than any other functionality. The reason is that DMSO with its very electronegative oxygens is a poor solvator for any compound with partial negative or full anionic character. 

The determinants of F. have been subject to experimentation mostly in field and captive studies of ungulates. These support the expected association between the frequency and occurrence of Flehmen and the seasonality of reproduction. The elicitation of F. can also depend upon the social context presentation of urine or other stimuli alone may not produce consistent displays. When conspecific urine was tested out of context (i.e. no female present) in male Black-tailed deer, there was no discrimination between urine from individual adult males or between urine from estrous/non-estrous females (Altieri, 1980). Correlation of male endocrine status in reindeer (Rangifer tarandus) showed that the elevation of testosterone during rut and the duration of F. elicited by female urine was coincident F. bouts during rat were twice as long following exposure to adult female urine as to that of immature females (Mossing and Damber, 1981).

Now then, A sowa is another story. Various reports show little to none dillapiole in the herb oil, but Baslas reports that one Indian herb oil contained 8.6% [27]. Dill seed oil is the bomb, though. It consistently displays dill apiole content from 20.7 - 66.8% [28,29]. Lucky you, because the seed oil is the most common. 

The plots suggested by Equation 3 for these systems are shewn in Figures 2, 3 and 4 and these show that the excellent correlation found with polymers is not obeyed with these compounds. The results arising from alkane probes show linearity, even with polar molecules such as NMP, but there are marked deviations with aromatic or polar probes. Table III shows the solubility parameters calculated using solely the linear portions of the graphs obtained with the alkane probes, and also using the results from all of the probes. The results do not show the consistency displayed by polymers, and the estimates of 62 differ greatly from literature values. There is no apparent pattern as to whether better results are found from the alkane solvents or from all of the results. 

Familial combined hyperlipidemia is characterized by elevations in total cholesterol and triglycerides, decreased HDL, increased apolipoprotein B, and small, dense LDL. It is associated with premature CHD and may be difficult to diagnose because the lipid levels do not consistently display the same pattern. 

However, the selectivity of this determinant has proven useful in the evaluation of some benign sudoriferous lesions. For example, although sporadic GCDFP-15 staining in encountered in a minority of eccrine sweat gland adenomas, it is consistently displayed in tumors with known apocrine differentiation." A/T core of the DNA substrate in a fashion that is virtually identical to the behavior of Ni(II) L-Arg-Gly-His. Indeed a detailed analysis of the MD simulation of this system indicated a clear correspondence to Ni(II) L-Arg-Gly-His except for the behavior of the Lys side chain the Lys side chain was observed to alternate between two conformations consequently interacting less strongly with the DNA than the Arg side chain. Given that the main DNA recognition moieties of these metallopeptides are identical (terminal amine and His imidazole), these observations suggest a plausible rationale for why Ni(II) L-Lys-Gly-His and Ni(II) L-Arg-Gly-His display identical cleavage site-selectivities but that the former consistently displays weaker DNA cleavage.

As shown in Trhie 1.6, the measured specific conductivity of the PSSA-PVDF membrane samples evaluated consistently displayed values within the range of 40-90 mS/cm, being comparable to Nafion -117. The variation... 

Phosphorus-31 NMR was used by Burton et al, [20] to analyze polyphospha-zenes (dispersants) bound to the surface of alumina ceramic particles. The differences between the spectra of the inorganic polymer in solution and in colloidal suspensions were used to probe the chemical interaction with the alumina. Their P NMR results showed a small lower frequency shift associated with phosphazenes bound to alumina. Solution samples consistently displayed a broadening of the P resonance upon cumulative addition of alumina to the suspension, indicating some degree of chemical adsorption (Sec. II.E). However, Burton et al. pointed out that this lineshape difference might be mistaken as an artifact caused by the amount of solids present in the NMR sample. 

Instead of requiring the full behavioral sequence from flight to egg production to be the bioassay criterion, it maybe expedient to bypass, or short circuit, some of the steps in the process and focus upon critical steps, or indicator behaviors. This may result in little loss in resolution and great reductions in time and effort. Whenever such indicator behaviors are used, it is important to establish that the behavior is consistently displayed in the overall behavioral investigated, and not displayed in alternative behaviors. Additionally, results using indicator behaviors should be confirmed with bioassays using the complete behavioral sequence. 

Earlier data obtained by Kotter showed that successful managers used their power openly and legitimately, mainly on the basis of consistently-displayed practical and leadership abilities. They were sensitive to the types of power which different types of people respect.
