The autoclave computer software waits for the temperature in the Pt-100 in the product on the coldest spot having reached the set maximum process temperature (for example 121 °C) and keeps the load at this temperature for a specified duration (15 min) after that the cooling phase starts. 

Current microsystem architectures are dominated by the basic principle of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) (Au et al. 2011), which means that they are nothing more than complex computer-controlled systems. Overall control is provided by the PDP-11/44, running DEC S RSX-llM operating system. To perform either test the user accesses a main menu from which separate menus for instrument calibration, tensile tests, and flexure tests can be reached. Optical particle counters provide information on the particles present in different size ranges. A beam of light is collimated and focused onto a measurement cell. Light impinging on a particle is scattered and reaches a photomultiplier tube and converted to an output proportional to particle size. Particle size distributions are computed by appropriate software.
