However, in various industrial sectors the application of the radioscopic inspection technique is aggravated by a lack of the respective standards, contrary to radiography. This leads to complicated approval bureaucracy by the respective supervisory or certificatiomn authorities. 

The decision to undertake this project was prompted by Barbara Goldman at John Wiley Sons, who was willing to believe in a first-time author. By looking at the analytical process chain characteristics, such as the reliability and traceability of data, documentation standards and total costs of QM are discussed and evaluated. Suggestions for harmonization of QM-Systems and reduction of bureaucracy will be made, resulting in an improvement of the overall practical applicability and cost reduction of QM.

Greater co-operation among producers could be developed. I MUST ADMIT THAT the book is not ultimately my own idea. Whether due to the PDUFA resources, to the advent of more bureaucracy overseas (e.g. the formation of the European Union s central drug approval authority) or to criticism of delays at the agency, today the United States is often the first country to approve new drugs.
