Experts say that the best way to lose a friend is to win an argument. Avoid arguments about any aspect of safety. If there is a difference of opinion and an argument occurs, a rift, division, or a break in the relationship may result. The best way to win a heated discussion, or difference of opinion on safety, is to avoid it

Both individual and societal risks may be presented on an absolute basis compared to a specific risk target or criterion. Or, they may be presented on a relative basis to avoid arguments regarding the adequacy of the absolute numbers while preserving the salient differences between alternatives. The end results of the risk presentation may be a single number (or a range of numbers if an uncertainty analysis was performed) or one or more graphs.

The development of PH A into a branch of bulk chemical industry will address at least three issues shortage of petroleum for plastic materials, reduction of CO emissions, and environmental protection. It is related to the sustainable development of the chemical and material industries. The newly developed PHA-based biofuels open up a new area for development that avoids argument on food versus fuel and fuel versus land.
