Pressure abnormally high

The presence of ethane in Hquefied petroleum gas must be avoided because of the inabiHty of this lighter hydrocarbon to Hquefy under pressure at ambient temperature and its tendency to register abnormally high pressures in the LPG containers. On the other hand, the presence of pentane in Hquefied petroleum gas must also be avoided because this particular hydrocarbon, a Hquid at ambient temperatures and pressures, can separate in the Hquid state in the gas lines. 

That is, the pressure is adjusted automatically in response to signals from various baroreceptors. Control of abnormally high pressure can, at least in theory, be achieved by interfering with the chain of transmission of the neural signals that lead to elevation of pressure. Figure 2-56 shows a plot of the theoretical maximum overburden pressure and the theoretical minimum pressure as a function of depth. Also plotted are various bottomhole fluid pressures from actual wells drilled in the Gulf Coast region [33]. These experimentally obtained pressures are the measurements of the pressures in the fluids that result from a combination of rock overburden and the fluid hydraulic column to the surface. Fluid transfer implants are required for cases such as hydrocephalus, urinary incontinence, glaucoma-related elevated intraocular pressure, and chronic ear infection. Ffydrocephalus, caused by abnormally high pressure of the cerebrospinal fluid in the brain, can be treated by draining the fluid (essentially an ultrafiltrate of blood) through a cannula. Abnormal high-pressure drop across the collector due to ineffective cleaning, wetting of bags, reentrainment of dust, or change in inlet loading or particle distribution. 

Many different mechanisms have been proposed to explain primary migration. These invoke solution of oil and gas in water, improbably high temperatures, abnormally high pressures, and the use of soapy micelles as petroleum solvents which then vanish once they have done their task. 

The schematic diagram of HIPPS pilot model for the study is shown in Fig. 1. The wellhead is provided with a surface valve block, a master valve and a wing valve. A choke valve drops the pressure to the required operating pressure. In case of abnormal high pressure occurrence, pressure transmitters detect the overpressure and initiate the closure of HIPPS valves installed in series. The action of the HIPPS prevent further pressure rise. 

Small pouches which are formed in the wall of the large intestine because of abnormally high pressures that develop during the passage of the intestinal contents. It is suspected that diverticulitis may result from diets low in fiber.
