Washing wetting

Mercuric Sulfate. Mercuric s Af2iX.e.[7783-35-9] HgSO, is a colorless compound soluble ia acidic solutions, but decomposed by water to form the yellow water-iasoluble basic sulfate, HgSO 2HgO. Mercuric sulfate is prepared by reaction of a freshly prepared and washed wet filter cake of yellow mercuric oxide with sulfuric acid ia glass or glass-lined vessels. The product is used as a catalyst and with sodium chloride as an extractant of gold and silver from roasted pyrites. 

Shake 15 g of the washed wet Sepharose together with 10 ml of Soln. A, 0.5 g fucose, and 75 ml pure water at 40 °C overnight. Add 0.6 g of ethanolamine and continue shaking at 40 °C for further 2 h. Remove liquid and wash with 500 ml pure water. 

The bleached hardwood kraft mentioned in the introduction was soaked in a solution of aluminum sulfate and washed thoroughly with water. This "aluminum pulp was soaked in three concentrations of magnesium acetate for time periods up to sixty minutes, washed, wet-ashed with nitric acid, and analyzed for magnesium and aluminum. The data are given in Table XVI. It does not appear that any aluminum is removed by magnesium acetate. The pick-up of magnesium appears to be a function of time and of magnesium concentration. 

BURCOFIX FR-30 has little to no effect on dye shades with the added advantage of increasing fastness to washing wet processing and persipiration. 

Starch is extracted from plant sources through a sequence of processing steps involving coarse milling, repeated water washing, wet sieving, and centrifugal separation. The wet starch obtained from these processes is dried and milled before use in pharmaceutical formulations. 

Fruit dietary fiber is the product obtained by drying the washed wet pulp (the main by-product of juice industries) that remains after fruit juice extraction. Because fruit dietary fibers contain a high level of pectins as the major water-soluble fibers, they have similar technological functions as isolated pectins (Diepenmat-Wolters, 1993)...

The main causes of irritant contact dermatitis are frequent hand washing (wet work, soaps and skin disinfectants), the use of polymer gloves, and organic solvents, acids and alkalis (used in large quantities).

E cellulose microcristalline Cellulose contains crystalline zones (- cellulose). A controlled hydrolysis of the amorphous segments by dilute acids, such as HCl or H2SO4 at 80-100 °C yields a slurry, which is washed, wet milled, (spray-)dried and dry milled.
