Urinary frequency

Headache, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, urinary frequency, flushing, dizziness...

Cardiovascular (tachycardia, palpitations), sweating, respiration, GIT, muscle tension, tremor, muscle aches or soreness, nausea, exaggerated startle reflex, increased urinary frequency Hypervigilance, nail-biting, scratching... 

EB, a 48-year-old woman, presents to a new primary care clinic. EB s chief complaints are chronic pain of the knee and "pins and needles" and "numbness" in both hands. Over the past few years, she feels that her body has been changing. EB reports increased urinary frequency, excessive sweating, worsening headaches, an increase of two shoe sizes, and facial hair that she shaves once a week. She says that her hands have enlarged to the point that "my wedding band won t fit anymore."... 

O Common symptoms of menopause include hot flashes, night sweats, vulvovaginal atrophy, and vaginal dryness. Women less commonly may experience mood swings, depression, insomnia, arthralgia, myalgia, and urinary frequency. 

AA is a 65-year-old male patient with an AUA symptom score of 1 9, urinary hesitancy, a slow urinary stream, urinary frequency, and nocturia. He wakes up three times every night to void. A digital rectal exam reveals an enlarged prostate of approximately 40 g (1.4 oz). His PSA is 4 ng/mL (4 mcg/L). 

To reduce nocturia, patients should be instructed to stop drinking fluids several hours before going to bed, and then voiding before going to sleep. During the day, patients should avoid excessive caffeine intake, as this may cause urinary frequency. In addition, toilet mapping (knowing the location of toilets on the way to and from various destinations) may help reassure the patient that he can still continue with many of his routine daily activities. 

Urinary frequency (greater than 8 micturitions/day), urgency with or without urge incontinence nocturia (greater than or equal to 2 micturitions/night) and enuresis may be present as well. 

Lower abdominal fullness, hesitancy, straining to void, decreased force of stream, interrupted stream, sense of incomplete bladder emptying. May have urinary frequency and urgency, too. Abdominal pain if acute urinary retention is also present. 

Dysuria, suprapubic heaviness, gross hematuria, urinary frequency, and nocturia...

Locally invasive prostate cancer is associated with ureteral dysfunction or impingement, such as alterations in micturition (e.g., urinary frequency, hesitancy, dribbling).

Chemical plant workers chronically exposed to 6-12 ppm developed headache, vertigo, nervousness, sleeplessness, nausea, and vomiting. Similar symptoms have occurred in workers repeatedly exposed to 125 ppm in some cases, lower abdominal or back discomfort with urinary frequency was observed without associated evidence of liver or kidney damage. Serious liver and kidney injury has been reported after oral administration of 1.8-2.5ml of pyridine daily for 2 months in the treatment of epilepsy. Skin irritation may result from prolonged or repeated contact with the chemical.
