The influence of adding polyfunctional monomers having different structures and functionality into a dicumyl peroxide-based crosslinking system for LDPE was investigated. It many ways the alkyl cyanurates behave as typical esters. They are hydrolyzed to cyanuric acid and the appropriate alcohol, and readily undergo transesterification reactions.
