Trade names and suppliers

Trade names and suppliers of commercial thermoplastic elastomers of all types are given in Tables 5—7. [Pg.16]

Commercial epoxy adhesives are composed primarily of an epoxy resin and a curing agent. Various additives and modifiers are added to the formulation to provide specific properties. Example trade names and suppliers of these ingredients are included in App. A. The curing agent may be incorporated into the resin to provide a single-component adhesive, or else it may be provided in a separate container to be mixed into the resin immediately prior to application. [Pg.1]

Within the last two decades, a number of chemical structures have been proposed as metal deactivators for polyolefins. These include carboxylic acid amides of aromatic mono- and di-carboxylic acids and N-substituted derivatives such as N,N -diphenyloxamide, cyclic amides such as barbituric acid, hydrazones and bishydrazones of aromatic aldehydes such as benzaldehyde and salicylaldehyde or of o-hydroxy-arylketones, hydrazides of aliphatic and aromatic mono- and di-carboxylic acids as well as N-acylated derivatives thereof, bisacylated hydrazine derivatives, polyhydrazides, and phosphorus acid ester of a thiobisphenol. An index of trade names and suppliers of a few commercial metal deactivators is given in Appendix A4. [Pg.114]

The following index of trade names and suppliers is based on a choice of representative flame retardants for thermoplastics. No claim is made for completeness. Detailed lists can be found in the source cited. [Pg.823]

For example, the examination of mixtures of polyamides and polyolefins is relatively easy because the polyamide component can be degraded by acid hydrolysis, and the resulting low molecular weight fragments can then be identified according to the procedure described in Section 6.2.10. The Table 1.3 lists some of the most important polymer blends together with their trade names and suppliers. [Pg.15]
