The Roma

Variations in use between ethnic groups have also been reported within CEECs. In the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, for example, 1998 data show that young Macedonians tend to inject heroin whereas ethnic Albanians are more likely to smoke it. Similar differences have been reported with the Russian ethnic minority in the Baltic States and with the Roma community in Bulgaria.

Let us consider how this analysis applies to a group like the Roma who claim to be a non-territorial national group. To determine whether the Roma are a nation entitled to self-determination or an ethnic group that deserves only polyethnic rights...

The normal cost for treatment of soils is under 100 per ton treated. The vendor claims that this is less expensive than excavation and hauhng and eliminates the need for hazardous waste disposal and the associated liabihty (personal communication, James Roma, KEECO, 9/97).

H3C.C(CH20N02)3, (Metriol Trinitrate, MtrTN). A slightly turbid, heavy explosive oil developed before WWII by the SA Bombrini Parodi-Delfino (BPD) and manufd at the Colloferro-Roma Plant. It was obtd in 92% yield by nitrating trimethylolmethylmethane in a batch process using mixed nitric-sulfuric acid of zero water. The processes similar to that used for prepn of NG, except that high ratios of acids are used. A detailed description of prepn is... 

They were developed by BPD (Bombrini-Parodi-Delfino SA, Colloferro-Roma). They melt at 85—88°, have the same power as TNT and are fairly insensitive to shock. PA mixts were proposed for cast-loading shells, but were seldom used because PA is more expensive then TNT. Accdg to Piantanida (Ref 4, p 232), PA was also used in compressed form as a secondary chge in detonators. See also Ref 28, p 340 ...
