Dry Coal Cleaning. Developments in the areas of magnetic and electrostatic separation as a means of cleaning coals in the dry state include high gradient magnetic separation (HGMS), triboelectrostatic separation (TESS), and dry coal purifier (D-CoP). [Pg.257]

In guidance document ICH E3, Structure and Content of Clinical Study Reports, the FDA defines treatment-emergent signs and symptoms (TESS) as events not seen at baseline and events that worsened even if present at baseline. As simple as that may sound, it can sometimes be quite difficult to program. The important data variables that come into play are dosing record dates and times, adverse event start and stop times, and adverse event severity. All of these data variables need to be completed accurately for TESS to be calculated properly. [Pg.33]

The higher sulfides of tellurium such as TeS2 and TeSs, are obtained from tellurite solutions by precipitation with hydrogen sulfide or sodium sulfide. Tellurium reacts with concentrated sulfuric acid to form red oxysulfide of the composition, TeSOs. With nitric acid, the metal is oxidized to dioxide, Te02. Oxidation of tellurium with chromic acid or potassium permanganate in nitric acid yields orthotelluric acid (HeTeOe). [Pg.918]
