Te-donor Ligands

The preparation of complexes of Pd, Pt, and Rh with some N- and S-containing heterocycles has been reported. The complexes isolated, cis- and trans-[ML2X2] [M = Pd or Pt L = 2-mercaptothiazoline (SHTH), 2-mercaptobenzothiazole (SHBTZ), and 2-mercapto-l-methylimidazole (SHMI) X = Cl or I] and [ML2] (M = Pd or Pt L = SHBTZ or SHMI), were shown to possess only N-bonded L in acidic media, whereas in basic solution SHTH bonds only through S, and SHBTZ and SHMI are S,N-chelated. [Pg.352]

Two different coloured products possessing the same formula have been obtained for complexes of 2-aminocyclopentene-l-dithiocarboxylic acid (A CD A) with Pd, Pt, [Pg.352]

X = CH2, O, or S) have been reported. I.r. spectra indicate that the N—C bond increases in double-bond character on complexation. [Pg.353]

Ketones form coloured solutions of 1 1 complexes which hydrolyse on contact with air i.r. spectra indicate solvation by a second molecule of ketone. Heats of solution of NbCl5 in MeCOR (R = Et, Pr, or Bu ) and cyclohexanone are reported.559 O-, S-, Se-, and Te-Donor Ligands. Table 4 summarizes much of the data reported on niobates, tantalates, and mixed oxides containing niobium(v) and tantalum(v) published this year. [Pg.79]

The peroxyniobium compounds M1M2[Nb(02)4] (M1 = M2 = Li, Cs, Rb M1 = NH4, M2 = Cs M1 = Cs, M2 = NH4 M1 = Rb, M2 = NH4) and Rb3-[Nb0(02)3] have been characterized563 by X-ray diffraction, electrical conductivity, and thermal decomposition studies. Thermal methods have also been used563 in a study of the oxonium and ammonium pyrochlores H30MW06, H40M206, and NH4MW06 (M = Nb or Ta). [Pg.79]

S-, Se-, and Te-donor Ligands. The TViV -dialkyldithiocarbamato-complexes [V0(R2NCS2)3] (where R = Me or Et, or R2N = 1-pyrrolidine) have been prepared. Their i.r. and mass spectra suggest that the compounds consist of discrete, seven-co-ordinate molecules. The [VOScj] " ion has been identified spectrophotometrically in the course of the reaction between an aqueous solution of [V04] and HjSe gas. CU3VX4 (X = S, Se, or Te) have been prepared and shown to have a sulvanite-type structure. ... [Pg.57]

The examined compound behaves as an N,Te-donor ligand also in analogous cobalt and copper complexes [922]. The N,Te-ligand environment is very likely for complexes 530 [923], 531 [924], adduct 532 [925], and tellurium-containing macrocyclic Schiff bases 533 [926] ... [Pg.112]

Complexes with S-Donor, Se-Donor, or Te-Donor Ligands. The interatomic distances and valence distributions in the chromium thiospinels have been reviewed.151 Several mixed-metal sulphides, selenides, and tellurides containing chromium(m) have been reported this year, as detailed in Table 2. [Pg.100]

S, Se-, and Te-Donor Ligands. Photoconductive compounds of the type CU3VX4 (X = S, Se, or Te) have light.dark conductivity ratios of 10 1. V(S2CNEt)3 undergoes irreversible electrochemical oxidation in MeCN to both and V products. VO(S2CNEt2)3 forms as a seven-co-ordinate monomer which is reduced to VO-(S2CNEt2)2 this behaviour is different from that of the 8-hydroxyquinoline system (Vol. 5, p. 52). [Pg.66]

PdCl2(TeC4H8)2] is an example of a complex with heterocyclic telluroether ligand (Figure 21). The molecules show Te- -Cl close contacts of 3.462 and 3.472 A and consequently form dimeric units. l,3-dihydrobenzo[c]tellurophene (L) also behaves as a simple monodentate Te donor ligand with metals as exemplified by [Mo(CO)6 L ] n = 1-3). ... [Pg.4816]
