Step 6 Necessary Attributes List

The list of attributes that the preferred (selected) supplier will have is developed by the team members. The attributes are specific to yourcompatty and the group of products being analyzed. [Pg.70]

Have efforts begun to form strategic alliances with raw material suppliers to ensure the availability of the needed materials  [Pg.70]

Is demographic market research being done by market sector to identify current trends  [Pg.70]

Will you keep us informed of process and material changes before they happen  [Pg.70]

Are you willing to openly discuss costing information and documentation  [Pg.70]

The next N-test checks for secondary alcohols, with no result (hence negative) indicated. Note that a call for subroutine 41 was not necessary here, since the desired information was discovered on the extended attribute table, where it had been placed in an earlier step. Since tertiary alcohols cannot be oxidized to the ketone, they do not affect this reaction, and no test is made for them. We remark that it is because this reaction will go in the presence of tertiary alcohols or diols (which can be protected with a cyclic ether, as specified by the seventh N-test in the list) that a simple A-test will not serve to exclude generating subgoals with primary or secondary alcohols. [Pg.127]

The next phase is to establish decision maker values, where is made an elicitation of which objectives the decision maker would like to consider for alternatives evaluation. Once there is a list of objectives to be considered is necessary to start another step to consolidate objectives and criteria, developing a consistent family of criteria to evaluate each alternative in its attributes. According to Vicke (1992) a set of attributes is consistent family of criteria if, and only if it represent the different aspects of the problem avoiding redundancies. This process contributes to build a value model. [Pg.1014]

A maritime security management framework, based on the above FuRBaR assessment method, can be developed downwards and upwards to model risk observation attributes and security control criteria, respectively. The proposed framework may consist of some major components listed below, which outline the necessary steps required for security management. [Pg.1959]
