Standing current, defined

All current taxometric procedures are based on a single statistical method termed Coherent Cut Kinetics (CCK). We decipher the meaning of this term in the next section in the example of the MAXCOV-HITMAX (MAXCOV stands for MAXimal COVariance the reason for this name will become clear in the next section) technique. However, we emphasize that it is not the shared statistical method that defines taxometrics. Currents in rivers and streams are turbulent. Turbulent mixing can be described by the Fickian laws (Eqs.18-6 and 18-14) and by empirical turbulent diffusion coefficients Ea, where a stands for x, y, z (Chapter 22). The main source of turbulence is the friction between the water and the river bed. It can be expected that increasing roughness of the river leads to increasing turbulence, much in the same way as a large roughness causes the mean flow u to become slow (see the effect on Eq. 24-4 if the friction coefficient f increases). In fact, turbulence in rivers can be scaled by the shear velocity, u, defined in Eq. 24-5. 

There are several steps which we consider essential to successful market development. First, we should describe as clearly as possible the nature of our business. Is it philanthropic, or do we intend to make a profit Does it contribute to another function or must it stand alone How much is known about the business we are attempting Who are the competitors, and what are their resources How about our own capabilities Can they be defined accurately What is our knowledge of the marketplace Are the sources reliable What assumptions are being made Are they accurate These and other questions should be asked and answered to organize our current position. 

The answer, according to the court, is no, since the Controlled Substance Act defines Schedule I drugs as those with no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States. The ruling allows state laws permitting the personal use and cultivation of medical marijuana to stand, but prohibits the kind of organized distribution that the cooperatives had engaged in, since, the court reasoned, these organizations cannot claim a medical necessity for marijuana use. 

A long-standing and still-current challenge in thermal ionization mass spectrometry is to improve ionization efficiency. This is usually defined experimentally as the ratio of ions collected to the number of atoms loaded it thus includes all aspects of the ionization, extraction, transmission, and collection processes. 

Using Ohm s law the unit of voltage, called the volt (V), can be defined by the two precedent units as the potential difference required for a flow of current of one ampere through a conductor having a resistance of one ohm. The serological reaction patterns of these antibodies correlated well with the HLA-D specificities detected in the MLC test and the antigens defined in this way were designated HLA-DR (where the DR stands for D-Related ). It is possible that variants of this technique may eventually prove to be the best and, aside from FTIR spectroscopy, the only means for measuring carbon aromaticities without simultaneously inducing unknown or uncertain chemical changes in the the coal substance. But as matters stand, the experimental limits of the technique remain to be defined (58). It has, for example, been suggested that current procedures sample only a fraction of all C atoms in coal (possibly no more than 50%) and that what is sampled may not be representative of the total (59, 60). If only for these reasons, results from NMR spectroscopy must therefore still be viewed with great caution. 

In summary, biogenerics are best defined as copies of therapeutic proteins, launched after patent expiry of the active pharmaceutical ingredient, and sold with a moderate price reduction. They have to be approved via the route of the centralized procedure in Europe and currently require a complete stand-alone dossier including clinical studies proving efficacy and safety.
