The book includes appendices of useful lists to help you apply the systan safety engineering and risk assessment tools and safety management system program described in the book. Typical energy sources, generic hazard checklists, and facility safety checklists are included. The final appendix gives yon some useful website addresses for more information. 

Another approach to obtain an overview on chemical information or on information related to specified topies in chemistry, is to use websites that eontain link lists. These link lists arc usually provided by universities and private persons and are classified into subject areas, Table 5-7 gives an sample of the thousands of link lists in chemistry, and in addition some other valuable URLs that deal with chcmoinformatics.

Recently Stroebel et al. published the first survey of Internet sites relating to various aspects of luminescence [56], In their classification they cite relevant companies and existing products, general websites, images, movies, and demonstrations for educational purposes. Below are summarized some of these useful websites to which others have been added.

Some general references are given in Chapter 1, including encyclopedias, and more specific references and useful websites are given in the chapters throughout the text. Following are several classical references, general and substance specific, that provide much useful information for the analyst. They are available in many libraries. 

Some useful discussion of a wide variety of topics in photochemistry and photobiology can be found at dedicated websites such as that from the American Society of Photobiology (http //www.photobiology.info)/ and the Outreach site from the Center for Photochemical Sciences, Bowling Green State University (http // www.photochembgsu.com/main.html). 

In the last three years many NDT organizations have set up Websites to provide information, the highlights of which are reviewed in this paper. The overwhelming amount of information makes it very difficult to find the most useful information on a specific theme in a reasonable time for - some hints on how to solve that problem are offered. 

You will need to know addresses (http //www.) of the major Internet search engines. But search engines are still not perfected and the results may contain certain amount of noise, i. e, irrelevant information. Some companies use tricky things to get your attention we found many NDT related words like TOFD hidden as meta keywords in every page of some websites. If a search engine leads you to this site you will find no actual information provided, not even a single visible instance of the word TOFD. 

On some occasions, the body does not behave as a single homogeneous compartment, and multicompartment pharmacokinetics are required to describe the time course of drug concentrations. In other instances certain pharmacokinetic processes may not obey first-order kinetics and saturable or nonlinear models may be required. I have also included some links that I have found useful, corrections when required even some possible examiation questions. I hope an adventurous professor will find these useful.
