The tables 5 and 6 give the results of sensitivity tests obtained on the nickel-chromium specimens of 20 and 10 pm for the fluorescent range products, and of 50 and 30 pm for the colored range of products. 

A radical pathway has been proposed to account for the isolation of (381)-(383) from the irradiation of the 3//-indazole (380) (73T1833). Results of sensitization and quenching experiments suggest that the reaction proceeds from the excited singlet state.

The use of ethanol or other organic solvents for dissolving plant allelochemicals to permit bloassay may Influence the results of sensitive bloassays. We examined the effects of several different concentrations of ethanol on frond production and anthocyanln content In L. obscura. The results show that both final frond number and anthocyanln content were decreased when the culture medium contained 0.133 or greater percent ethanol (v/v) (Table IX). 

Results of sensitiveness tests on typical explosives are given in Table 6.1, for steel to steel surfaces, in the absence of grit. 

Below the results of Sensitivity Runs with MADONNA are given from the BIOREACT example that is run as a batch fermenter system. This example involves Monod growth kinetics, as explained in Section 1.4. In this example, the sensitivity of biomass concentration X, substrate concentration S and product concentration to changes in the Monod kinetic parameter, Ks, was investigated. Qualitatively, it can be deduced that the sensitivity of the concentrations to Ks should increase as the concentration of S becomes low at the end of the batch. This is verified by the results in Fig. 2.30. The results in Fig. 2.31 give the sensitivity of biomass concentration X and substrate concentration S to another biological kinetic parameter, the yield coefficient Y, as defined in Section 1.4. 

Allergic reactions are characterised by cutaneous lesions, urticaria, edema or anaphylactoid reactions may occur as a result of sensitivity to local anaesthetic agent. 

Sensitivity analysis should be an integral component of the uncertainty analysis in order to identify key sources of variability, uncertainty or both and to aid in iterative refinement of the exposure model. The results of sensitivity analysis should be used to identify key sources of uncertainty that should be the target of additional data collection or research, to identify key sources of controllable variability that can be the focus of risk management strategies and to evaluate model responses and the relative importance of various model inputs and model components to guide model development. 

The majority of allergic reactions are the result of sensitivity to the beta-lactam ring in the penicillin structure. The penicillin is metabolized to a penicilloyl moiety, which binds to plasma albumin. This combination triggers an immune reaction, resulting in massive histamine release. 

Figure 7.10b illustrates the results of sensitivity measurements for the resistance sensor exposed to various concentrations of ethanol, see Eq.7.4. Both nontemplated and nanostmctured films seem to exhibit a linear relationship between the analyte s partial pressure and the measured sensitivity [46]. The best performing devices reached a sensitivity of only 2 and 2.5 % for a nontemplated and a DG-structured film, respectively, when tested in a nitrogen atmosphere containing... 

The dimerization reaction takes place upon irradiation with light of a wavelength longer than 300 nm. It was demonstrated subsequently [122], however, on poly(vinyl cinnamate) that the adducts dissociate again upon irradiation with light of 254 nm. Photo-dimerization and formation of cyclobutane groups were demonstrated to be enhanced as a result of sensitized irradiation [123]. 

On the whole, the police resisted such pressures, holding the view that the beamiks were neither harming anyone nor breaking any particularly important rules. One result of sensitization though, was, in some instances, to narrow the gap between the moral crusaders and the rule enforcers. And in areas far away from the scenes of the Mods and Rockers events — for example, in Devon and Cornwall - the phenomenon was used to justify new control measures against beatniks, beach sleepers and others. 

The outcome of this step is a number of alternative supply chain configuratiOTis characterized by their performance measurements and the results of sensitivity analysis.
