To put oneself in an emeritus, or no-responsibility role, is more difficult for some than for others. Many fail. For example, some individuals (perhaps without knowing it) mess up their retirement years by holding on to family responsibilities to fill a void that they cannot fill from normal retirement activities. Others continue to provide unneeded emotional and financial support to maintain control. Still others fear that if they do not continue to provide support (whatever form it may take), they will lose their children s love—which may or may not be there in the first place.

This situation can be improved if ail those involved in the production, import and sale of chemicals in developing countries play a responsible role in ensuring safety in use . Multinational corporations should not set up hazardous operations or export products that are considered dangerous for use in their own countries. Imposition of regulations by developing countries, similar to that suggested by the Indian Law Society could be of importance [1].

Hazardous waste operations consists of the incident command system, scene safety and control, spill control and containment, decontamination procedures, and the all clear.
