Communication specialized

The application possibility of various pickups types (superposed, communicating, special and others). [Pg.343]

Exciting, new results that may not yet be fully understood but for which it is important that the catalysis community learns about them, are published in the form of Letters, Notes and Rapid Communications. Specialized Letter Journals are Chemical Communications, Catalysis Letters, Chemical Physics Letters and Physical Review Letters, while several regular journals have sections for letters, such as the Priority Communications in the Journal of Catalysis. [Pg.20]

Communication Specialization of Pheromone Production. 5.3.2.1. Introduction and Evolutionary Origins. Whereas many fishes are expected to use hormonal pheromones for spying, others undoubtedly have come to use pheromones in communication. We expect the genesis of communication (pheromonal signals) in situations where there is a mechanism for individual donors to experience differential reproductive success because some aspect(s) of the way they produce and release a pheromonal cue can be modified to improve their individual success. In general, such mechanisms are expected in species... [Pg.31]

Figure 35.26. Sky, silica aerogel, 20 x 20 x 10 cm. Thanks to a black and glossy surface, we can see the magnificent sky-blue and sunset-orange natural colors of the artwork. One of the author s projects in progress is to realize silica aerogel sculptures where the clouds could appear, move, and disappear into the sculpture... Hopefully with the help of the scientific community specialized on aerogels (photographs and copyright MICHALOUS, 2009). Figure 35.26. Sky, silica aerogel, 20 x 20 x 10 cm. The importance of the SEI is well recognized in the scientific community special sessions are devoted to it in battery-related meetings such as the International Meetings on Li Batteries (IMLB), International Symposium on Polymer Electrolytes (ISPE), and in other meetings, including the Electrochemical Society (ECS) Battery Symposium in Japan and the Materials Research Society (MRS). Hundreds of papers dealing with the SEI study have been published (most of them in the last twenty years) and it is impossible to summarize all of them here. [Pg.2]
