The analysis clearly demonstrates that both journals gradually developed a more pronoimced research orientation Initially there were httle or no research papers in the 70 s and 80 s and then there was gradually increasing research content (Wankat et al. 2014). The reinaining five search topics (Research Topic, Author Name, Document Identifier, Company Namc/Organii ation, and Browse Table of Contents arc conducted in a similar fashion, with the input being the only difference between the criteria. Thus, in Research Topic" the entry can be any, or even several, keywords or phrases. In "Author Name", literature written by a specific author will be Found, including alternative spelling, Document Identifier" can also be entered directly in the query. Document identifiers arc CA abstract numbers, patent numbers, patent application numbers, or priority application numbers. The last two search topics (Company Name/Organi2ation, and Browse Table ofContents) allow one to search for literature from specific companies or to view the list of journals which are available in the database. 

Numerous studies have probed how novolac microstmcture influences resist hthographic properties. In one example, a series of resists were formulated from novolacs prepared with varying feed ratios ofpara-jmeta-cmso. These researchers found that the dissolution rate decreased, and the resist contrast increased, as thepara-jmeta-cmso feed ratio increased (33). Condensation can only occur at the ortho position ofpara-cmso but can occur at both the ortho- and i ra-positions of meta-cmso. It is beheved that increased steric factors and chain rigidity that accompany increasedpara-cmso content modify the polymer solubihty. 

PVDF-based microporous filters are in use at wineries, dairies, and electrocoating plants, as well as in water purification, biochemistry, and medical devices. Recently developed nanoselective filtration using PVDF membranes is 10 times more effective than conventional ultrafiltration (UF) for removing vimses from protein products of human or animal cell fermentations (218). PVDF protein-sequencing membranes are suitable for electroblotting procedures in protein research, or for analyzing the phosphoamino content in proteins under acidic and basic conditions or in solvents (219). 

Considerable research has been conducted to investigate the soil sorption and mobiUty of dinitroaniline herbicides. In general, these herbicides are strongly sorbed by soil (354), and sorption has been correlated to both soil organic matter and clay content (355). Dinitroaniline herbicides are not readily leached in most soils (356), although leaching of triduralin is enhanced by addition of surfactants (357). 

Amylenes. Amylenes (C monoolefins) produce alkylates with a research octane in the range of 90—93. In the past, amylenes have not been used widely as an industrial alkylation charge, although in specific instances, alkylation with amylenes has been practiced (23). In the future, alkylation with amylenes will become more important as limits are placed on the vapor pressure and light olefin content of gasolines. 

The overall objective of research under way as of ca 1997 is to develop a system of sale by description for fine and medium wools whereby the buyer is presented only with measured data on the principal characteristics of the raw wool, as well as an assessment of the less important characteristics by an independent skilled appraiser (8). A scheme for assessing the risk of the presence of colored fiber content in greasy wool has been proposed which depends on production parameters and on the age and sex of the sheep (5).
