Relocalization

Migration is both focusing and relocation of the reflection energy. Each zero-offset trace contains reflections that originate at different subsurface points with increasing depth (Fig a) sometimes hundreds of m s away from the surface location. Flowever the reflections are posted at the surface location of the zero-offset trace. Migration compensates for the mislocation due to the bent raypaths. 

It was not possible to relocate the number and positions of the ducts from the construction drawings (Fig. 7). 

Aside from the side chains, the movement of the backbone along the main reptation tube is still given by Eq. (2.67). With the side chains taken into account, the diffusion velocity must be decreased by multiplying by the probability of the side-chain relocation. Since the diffusion velocity is inversely proportional to r, Eq. (2.67) must be divided by Eq. (2.69) to give the relaxation time for a chain of degree of polymerization n carrying side chains of degree of polymerization n ... 

Single-point cahbrations and 2ero deterrninations are performed whenever instmments are shut down and/or relocated to a different sampling location. Should the recahbration vary by more than 10% of the value obtained during the initial cahbration, the analy2er is recahbrated until stable cahbration data are obtained. 

If the hazards and/or risk are unacceptable, then something must be done to change them. The process can be modified, the raw materials changed, and/or the process relocated, for example. In extreme cases, the process might be abandoned as too hazardous. 

The mature Haber-Bosch technology is unlikely to change substantiaHy in the foreseeable future. The centers for commercial ammonia production may, however, relocate to sites where large quantities of natural gas are flared from cmde oil production, eg, Saudi Arabia or Venezuela. Relocation would not offset the problems for agriculture of high transportation and storage costs for ammonia production and distribution. Whereas the development of improved lower temperature and pressure catalysts is feasible, none is on the horizon as of this writing. 

Plants need to be mn by people and the avaHabiUty of employees can constitute the overriding consideration in certain businesses, in relation to siting. Labor-intensive businesses have to either move to a location where labor is available or move their employees to the new plant site, which can be cosdy both from the standpoint of the physical move and also with regard to the additional expense of relocating a family from one place to whoUy new surroundings. Older and less flexible work forces often choose to accept eady retirement, quit, or not to relocate. 

Living Conditions. An investigation of the following community quahty-of-life considerations, which are considered important in attracting personnel to relocate, is necessary living conditions, ie, house availabiUty, costs, and safety schools, ie, quaUty, class size, and distance health care, ie, avadabihty of a major hospital and local doctors recreational facihties, ie, types and proximity cultural, ie, musical, plays, and movie theaters and sports, ie. Major or Minor League teams. 

Anchoring. Bismuth alloys that expand on solidification are particularly useful for aligning and setting punches in a die plate. It is much easier to melt and pour an ahoy around a punch than to machine the entire die plate and punch at the same time. This method also makes it easier to relocate parts or change dies. The low temperatures involved do not cause distortion. 

Three demonstrations of the LIMB technology have been carried out. The first was a privately funded project in the 75 MWt Boiler 405 at the No. 4 AC Station of Inland Steel Industries, Inc. (56). By injecting 70 wt % minus 200 mesh (74 -lm) limestone, approximately 40% SO2 removal was achieved at a Ca S ratio of 3. This rose to 50% removal when the Ca S ratio was increased to 4. The second LIMB demonstration was the backup desulfurization system installed by B W as part of the relocation, repowering, and reconfiguration of the PCS power plant (46). 

Indirect refrigeration systems are more prevalent in the chemical industiy than in the food industiy, commercial refrigeration, or comfort air-conditioning. This is even more evident in the cases where a large amount of heat is to be removed or where a low temperature level is involved. Advantage of an indirect system is centrahzation of refrigeration equipment, which is specially important for relocation of refrigeration equipment in a nonhazardous area, both for people and equipment.

In the earlier installations sensitive to such iiuerfercnces (he normal practice was coordination between the generating and power transmission agencies and the authorities of essential services (such as public telephones, defence serv ices and railways), who prov ide (heir (wvn communication systems, lo relocate iheir telephone lines to mitigate this problem at the planning stage,... 

Solution Since the distributor annular space w as capable of handling the vapor flow, the riser was simply blanked off. Adding a hat or relocating the feed pipe w ere possible alternate. solutions. 

Identify aspects of planned projects that could affect indoor air quality and manage projects so that good air quality is maintained this includes redecorating, renovation, or remodeling, relocation of personnel or functions within the building, new construction. 

Remove or reduce the source Prohibit smoking indoors or limit smoking to areas from which air is exhausted, not recirculated (NIOSH regards smoking areas as an interim solution). Relocate contaminant-producing equipment to an unoccupied, better ventilated, or exhaust-only ventilated space. Select products which produce fewer or less potent contaminants while maintaining adequate safety and efficiency. Modify other occupant activities. 

Relocating or rotating susceptible individuals Move susceptible individuals away from the area where they experience symptoms. Controlling exposure by relocating susceptible individuals may be the only practical approach in a limited number of cases, but it is probably the least desirable option and should be used only when all other strategies are ineffective in resolving complaints.
