Programmed resolution

When action level excursions or frequent alert excursions are identified, a corrective action program, resolution deadline, and preventive plan shall be implemented. Risk analysis shall be performed to determine the probability of one or more causes of errors occurring, as well as to identify the potential consequences of excursions. Assuming that the mass spectrometer has sufficient mass resolution, the computer can prepare accurate ma.ss data on the m/z values from an unknown substance. To prepare that data, the system must acquire the mass spectrum of a known reference substance for which accurate masses for its ions are already known, and the computer must have a stored table of these reference masses. The computer is programmed first to inspect the newly acquired data from the reference compound in comparison with its stored reference spectrum if all is well, the system then acquires data from the unknown substance. By comparison and interpolation techniques using the known reference... 

Another group of methods for testing 3D models that implicitly take into account many of the criteria listed above involve 3D profiles and statistical potentials [87,216]. These methods evaluate the environment of each residue in a model with respect to the expected environment as found in the high resolution X-ray structures. The severe accident research program improved public risk assessment, reduced uncertainties, and the reliance on subjective expert opinion. To close two severe accident issues in NRC s Severe Accident Research Plan (NUREG-1365) Mark I Liner Attack and Direct Containment Heating (DCH) were addressed with a new approach using the Risk Oriented Accident Analysis Method (ROAAM) (Theofanous, 1994, 1989). The resolution of the Mark-I Liner Attack issue constitutes the first full demonstration of ROAAM. It emphasizes the determinism and provides a basis for synergistic collaboration among experts through a common communication frame. 

Resolution Your company will have some experience of these costs for other quality programs. You should review these and if costs were excessive, try to learn from these experiences and show how they can be avoided this time. Hopefully, there will have been no excessive costs and you will be able to use the review information to defuse this concern.

Thus, the entire thrust of a water treatment program requires a proactive approach to potential problem identification and resolution. The scope of the program should therefore be wide enough to include not only all relevant conditioning equipment and chemical treatments but also a variety of technical and operational support services. 

The ability to identify the oxidation states of plutonium and measure their concentrations in environmental samples has improved markedly in resolution since the start of our research program.
