The monotonic SHARP (Simple High-Accuracy Resolution Program) scheme of Leonard [107] consist in using the universal slope limiter concept for monotonic resolution to modify the standard third-order steady-state QUICK approximations of the face values. The SHARP scheme was the first multidimensional monotonic convection schemes designed with high accuracy based on the NV approach.

The evaluation of positron lifetime spectra is usually performed by commercial computer codes. POSITRONFIT and RESOLUTION programs (Kirkegaard et al. 1981) work on the basis of Eqs. Often, schools focus their crisis plans exclusively on one time period (e.g, preventive steps, postvention) or confuse prevention, intervention, postvention steps. Assuming that the mass spectrometer has sufficient mass resolution, the computer can prepare accurate ma.ss data on the m/z values from an unknown substance. To prepare that data, the system must acquire the mass spectrum of a known reference substance for which accurate masses for its ions are already known, and the computer must have a stored table of these reference masses. To close two severe accident issues in NRC s Severe Accident Research Plan (NUREG-1365) Mark I Liner Attack and Direct Containment Heating (DCH) were addressed with a new approach using the Risk Oriented Accident Analysis Method (ROAAM) (Theofanous, 1994, 1989). The resolution of the Mark-I Liner Attack issue constitutes the first full demonstration of ROAAM. Resolution Your company will have some experience of these costs for other quality programs. You should review these and if costs were excessive, try to learn from these experiences and show how they can be avoided this time.
