Product categories procedure specific

To go further with intensity scoring, we are now developing scoring cards specifically for the evaluation of the texture of some key product categories soft bread, cake and custard creams. Our objective is to unify across all countries our evaluation procedures and standards. To do so, we followed the main steps of the QDA ... [Pg.342]

Since 1 January 2(X)1, this product category has been subject to a quasi-pharmaceutical registration procedure. The dossier to be submitted to the Korean authorities (i.e. Korean Food and Drug Administration, KFDA) must include, notably, specifications of the final product, titration of active ingredients in the cosmetic, a stability test performed according to the Korean protocol 3 batches over 6 months at 40 °C and 75% humidity, with analysis of active ingredients and preservatives each two months during these 6 months. [Pg.61]

These test procedures and standards are subject to change, so it is essential to keep up to date if one has to comply with them. It may be possible to obtain the latest issue on a specific test (such as a simple tensile test or a molecular weight test) by contacting the organization that issued it. For example, the ASTM issues new annual standards that include all changes. Their Annual Books of ASTM Standards contain more than seven thousand standards published in sixty-six volumes that include different materials and products. There are four volumes specifically on plastics 08.01-Plastics 1 08.02-Plastics 11 08.03-Plastics III, and 08.04-Plastic Pipe and Building Products. Other volumes include information on plastics and RPs. The complete ASTM index are listed under different categories for the different products, types of tests (by environment, chemical resistance, etc.), statistical analyses of different test data, and so on (56,128,129). [Pg.301]

The third category of equipment SOPs describes maintenance. These SOPs are similar in nature except that they relate specifically to equipment used in production and testing. Highlights of these procedures include preventive maintenance by lubrication, replacement of worn parts, disassembly and cleaning, oil and filter changes, and inspection of problems. [Pg.419]

Defining and documenting the fundamental procedures is important when conducting an LCA. That includes basic rules as well as specific issues. These could be, for example, the desired level of detail and depth or the choice of impact categories within the study. The application of cut-off criteria (for input and output flows) which allow the exclusion of insignificant contributions is to be described. If a system produces several products the input and output flows have to be allocated to each product. These allocation procedures must also be shown. [Pg.23]

Contributions for MIRSPs mostly differ in two categories the number of products considered and the solution method(s). Basically, the underlying problem structure is a vehicle routing problem (VRP) and/or a pick-up and delivery problem (PDP) under maritime-specific constraints such as port and turnover capacities as well as inventory constraints. Since VRP and PDP are hard to solve to optimality even in their basic form, solution methods for MIRSP mainly rely on sophisticated and tailored heuristical procedures. First contributions (Christiansen and Nygreen (1998) Christiansen (1999))... [Pg.111]

In the industrial field, the accidents situation depends on a wide variety of causes (i.e. diversification and complexity in production processes and technologies, human factors, organizational aspects, no application of safety procedures) that are often very difficult to indentify and to analyze. This is the reason why today aproactive approach to safety problems becomes a key factor. The Risk Assessment approach is aheady known and consohdated but the problem that is not yet solved is related to the indicators used in order to identify the risk priority. Usually these indicators are based on evaluator s experience and expertise, and not necessary deriving from statistical analysis. It depends on the fact that work injuries data are often not usable to characterize a specific risk category by a statistical approach it s a fact mainly due to the amount and typology of the available data and, consequently, to the lack of relationships between injuries and root causes. [Pg.1147]
