Objective Assemble detailed information concerning hazards, vulnerability, and risk provide action outlines for responders and criteria for plan review present maps of the local area and provide simulation capabilities for training. 

OSHA found multiple defieieneies in the design, management, and implementation of safety and health plans at all the sites that it visited and in all of the plans reviewed. These defieieneies fell into twelve fune-tional areas and were often eommon to all the sites. A diseussion of the findings speeifie to eaeh funetional area follows. Note, for the remainder of this report, that the identities of the sites are masked and are referred to by a randomly assigned letter designation (Site A-K).

The most important thing to remember when you get off track is not to panic or throw in the towel. You can adjust your schedule to make up the lost time. You may need to reconsider some of your other commitments and see if you can borrow some time for studying. Or you may need to forego one of your planned review sessions to learn new material. You can always find a few extra minutes here and there for your review. 

Take one practice exam from Chapters 4 or 5 to find one or two areas you are weakest in. Choose the appropriate chapter(s) from among Chapters 6-12 to read in these two weeks. Use some of the additional resources listed there. When you get to those chapters in this plan, review them.

Operational and maintenance plans should be prepared for the computer system and its associated measurement and control instrumentation. Operational plan review will focus on system reliability, performance, diagnostic records, instrument and system I/O calibration, and the provision of critical data to support the batch record. Procedures for controlling the system (e.g., system management, security, and process operations) should be reviewed to verify that they are current, in place, and being followed. For each procedure required for the system there should be documented evidence that the relevant operatives have been trained in its use. All procedures must be written and approved according to the site procedures for writing and approving SOPs.

It usually helps to have your plans reviewed by an outside party, either a consultant or the vendors you see as being key to your project. They may see things from a different perspective or have encountered similar situations and help avoid blind alleys and pitfalls. It may help to have them recommend a solution without seeing yours. Someone fresh to a problem, and not biased by suggested solutions, may come up with interesting insights.
