Plan development generally

The operations group will develop general operating and maintenance objectives for the facilities which will address product quality, costs, safety and environmental issues. At a more detailed level, the mode of operations and maintenance tor a particular project will be specified in the field development plan. Both specifications will be discussed in this section, which will focus on the input of the production operations and maintenance departments to a field development plan. The management of the field during the producing period is discussed in Section 14.0. 

The chemical industry is the application field for the study and the development of a global value chain planning model. General characteristics of the chemical industry as application field are described in this chapter. Particularities of chemical commodities are described in more detail being relevant for the considered case. 

The first stage of the site characterization process is the customization of the generic plan developed as part of planning and preparation for responding to contamination threats. In general, the incident commander will develop the customized plan in conjunction with the site characterization team leader. Although the plans developed by each student were unique, they nevertheless exhibited many similarities in their general or overall structure. In particular, the following types of plans emerged frequently. The analysis and description of the different plans are based on the 85 problem-solving episodes of the 17 students during the second PSE session.

The plan developed by the contractor to meet the system safety program requirement of the government (as specified in the contract) is generally called the system safety program plan (SSPP). 

State Implementation Plans (SIPs) are federally approved plans developed by state (or local) air quality management authorities to attain and maintain the National Ambient Air Quality Standards. Generally, these SIPs are a state s (local) air quality rules and regulations that are considered an acceptable control strategy once approved by the USEPA. The purpose of SIPs is to control the amoimt and types of pollution for any given area or region of the United States. 

Plot plans are generally developed in stages, from the initial concept to the ftilly dimensioned document at the construction issue stage. 

Becau.se agencies do not always specify how standards must be implemented, safety officials must transform regulations into practices and procedures (Document E) that can be applied across many different sites and conditions. At the local level, writers must develop ventilation plans, roof control plans, and general safety instructions that take into account differences in local conditions. In the mining industry, these plans must be approved at the District level before operators can proceed with their work.
