Photographs boiler

The dibydrochloride salt is used as a photographic developer. It also is employed as an intermediate in the manufacture of fur dyes, in hair dyeing, as a reagent in testing for ammonia and formaldehyde, and as an oxygen scavenger in water to prevent boiler corrosion (173). 

Wulpi provides an excellent overview of failure mechanisms for mechanical parts in his book Understanding How Components Fait.A The book contains a number of photographs that compare the different types of failures. It is a good reference for mechanical component failnres including shafts, tanks, piping, and boilers.

Applications Sodium sulfite is utilized as a reducing agent, in the manufacture of sodium thiosulfate, as an oxidation-prevention agent for developer solutions in the photographic industry, as an antichlorination agent in the paper and textile industries, for the preservation of food and for the treatment of boiler water. 

Use Boiler water compounds, detergents, textiles, leather tanning, photographic film developing, deflocculation of clays, flotation and desliming of minerals, dispersion of pigments, paper processing, industrial and municipal water treatment. 

Use Water softeners, boiler-water compounds, detergent, metal cleaner, textiles, manufacture of paper, laundering, tanning, sugar purification, photographic developers, paint removers, industrial cleaners, dietary supplement, buffer, emulsifier, food additive. 

USE In photographic developers clarifying sugar remov -ing boiler scale, softening water manuf paper laundering tanning leather in detergent mixture. 

Tribasic sodium phosphate is used in a variety of cleaning agents, such as detergents, industrial cleaning products, and metal cleaners to treat boiler water for the tanning of leather in the manufacture of textiles and paper products in the purification of sugar as a dietary supplement for humans and farm animals in paint removers and for various photographic purposes.

In practice, the system could be installed within one day and apart from making one entry to move the scanning frame around the protruding boiler support lugs, the entire inspection was carried out remotely. Figure 8 shows photographs of the environment and the equipment in use.
