Personal Qualifications

The system has recently been used with success for inspection of 11 inclined nozzle welds during the R1 SPRINT project at Vattenfall Ringhals, Sweden during the summer 1997. At the moment a full system and personal qualification is prepared for inspection of the pressurizer spray nozzle weld at Vattenfall Ringhals, block 2 at May, 1998. 

Establish Personal Qualification Pathways Good business practice, as well as CFR 21 211.25, mandates that each employee possess the education, training, and experience to enable him or her to perform assigned functions in a safe and effective manner. The training plan must contain a policy allowing personnel to demonstrate their qualifications. This should cover training and supervisory personnel as well as those directly involved with operations. 

A qualification pathway should include all of the training programs necessary to qualify employees in job functions. A sample personal qualification pathway for a compression technician is shown in Figure 9.

Regarding my personal qualifications, I wish to state that I was a member of the Militargeschichtliche Forschungsamt (Military History Research Department) in Freiburg from 1960 to 1995. For almost three decades, my work has focused exclusively on matters related to the German-Soviet war. Through the publication of academic books and periodical articles on this topic I am well established as an expert in my field, both at home and abroad. Accredited chemist Rudolf and the co-authors of the anthology at issue are not personally known to me. 

The organization, management structure, personal qualifications and training ... 

A position in any one of the three groups requires, in addition to technical skill, the personal qualifications usually associated with the successful research worker in a large laboratory. These qualifications may be described as intellectual curiosity, ingenuity, capacity for independent thinking, and ability to work as a member of a team, as well as those virtues so handy in all of modern society, patience, and a sense of humor. 

Personal qualifications are taken into account in the model concept to recognize that each person is able to carry out a variety of activities. This portfolio of possible activities can be directed at specific job descriptions that are representative for the different organizational units and work means related to the process. In Fig. 5.10, a section of the Person Net is shown. 

Unfortunately, there is no universally accepted method of performance rating, nor is there a universal concept of normal performance. The majority of rating systems used are laigely dependent on the judgment of the time study analyst. It is primarily for this reason that the analyst reflects high personal qualifications.

A. 3 Yes. As noted in the preamble to the final rule, the 1926.1928(a)(3) requirement was included in the final rule because OSHA and the C-DAC committee felt that it is important for employers to make the documentation of signal person qualifications readily available to employees and others who need to rely on those qualifications, such as crane operators who rely on signal persons provided by a different employer, or OSHA for compliance purposes (75 Federal Register 48029). In practical terms, this availability requirement means that if a crane operator or that operator s employer, an OSHA compliance officer, or another person who needs to verify the qualifications of the signal person requests to see the documentation, the employer must produce it immediately. So long as the card qualifies as documentation of training in accordance with the answer to Question...

These circumstances apparently preclude prompt and effective medical treatment being initiated by the responsible insurance institution. The requirement has nevertheless been achieved by the BGs, which have appointed traumatologists throughout the country calling them transit doctors. Some of these doctors are in private practice and others are employed in hospitals. Their personal qualifications and the equipment of their surgeries have to comply with high standards.
