Anyone who has written a book or pubhshed a peer-reviewed paper knows that anthois need editors and vice versa. The author is grateful to Jill J. Jurgenson, Senior Project Coordinator, and Ms. Michele Dimont, Project Editor, at Taylor Francis for their invaluable contributions, snggestions, comments, and revisions to this latest edition. I am also grateful to Caroline I. Dracker for her patience and efforts in obtaining many peer-reviewed articles. Their efforts were invalnable and the time saved allowed me to focus on finalizing this book. Many thanks to the prodnction staff of Taylor Francis and anonymous reviewers for their constmctive comments and helpful suggestions. 

Although the use of PBBs in South Korea was banned in 1999 the total use of BFRs including PBDEs has increased during the last decade (Park and Jeong, 2001). Concentrations of PBDEs in South Korea have only recently been measured. There are three peer-reviewed papers available, which reported the concentrations of PBDEs in air, sediments and bivalves. One report was available focusing on the PBDEs in human... 

Professor at the Technion Israel Institute of Science, in 2003 became Chair of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Massachusetts Boston, and in 2007 a Program Director at the NSF. He has contributed 270 peer reviewed papers and patents ranging from novel efficient solar semiconductor/electrochemical processes, to unusual batteries, to elucidation of complex equilibria and quantum electron correlation theory. 

This volume contains 47 peer-reviewed papers selected from those presented at the 3rd ESIS TC4 conference, Fracture of Polymers, Composites and Adhesives held in Les Diablerets, Switzerland, 15-18th September 2002. 

Information about the source of the model. This section includes information about the model developers (i.e., contact details), together with references to the original peer-reviewed papers describing the development of the model. There is also a field to identify the author(s) and creation date of the format. 

Other panelists also addressed these public comments. One panelist thought, and others agreed, that some peer-reviewed papers from the Yusho and Yu-Cheng incidents have reported PCB-related neurological effects in adults, including numbness and nerve conduction delays (Chen et al. 1985a Chia and Chu 1984, 1985). To make technical information available cis quickly as possible, the peer-reviewed papers in this publication were prepared camera-ready cis submitted by the authors. 

In this symposium, the peer reviewed papers were published in this proceeding, which is very important to share mine safety technology with worldwide researchers. And we hope to see you in next conference in the future.
