Microsoft was founded in 1975 by Bill Gates, who dropped out of Harvard, and Paul Allen. Their first software sold was in the BASIC language, which was the first language to be used on personal computers (PCs). As PC prices decreased, the number of consumers able to purchase a PC increased, as did the revenue and market dominance of Microsoft. Microsoft is the largest software company in the world, with annual revenues of more than 32 billion. Because it has gained such widespread dominance in the technology field, it offers its own certifications in order to maintain quality standards in its current and prospective employees. Among the most commonly held and useful certifications offered by Microsoft are the Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Solution Developer... 

Microsoft Corporation (Bill Gates) Gates, along with Paul Allen, found Microsoft, a software company. Gates will remain head of Microsoft for twenty-five years.

A number of useful properties of the Group 1 elements (alkali metals) are given in Table 8. They include ionization potentials and electron affinities Pauling, Allred-Rochow and Allen electronegativities ionic, covalent and van der Waals radii v steric parameters and polarizabilities. It should be noted that the ionic radii, ri, are a linear function of the molar volumes, Vm, and the a values. If they are used as parameters, they cannot distinguish between polarizability and ionic size.
