Parameter-driven analysis

Parameter-Driven Analysis Normal Conditions, Contingencies, Controls... [Pg.712]

The specification development process is a data-driven activity that requires a validated analytical method. The levels of data needed include assay precision, replicate process results (process precision), and real-time stability profiles. A statistical analysis of these data is critical in setting a realistic specification. Most often, aggregation and fragmentation degradation mechanisms are common to protein and peptide therapeutics. Therefore, the SE-HPLC method provides a critical quality parameter that would need to be controlled by a specification limit. [Pg.535]

V-belts are common intermediate drives for fans, blowers, and other types of machinery. Unlike some other power-transmission mechanisms, V-belts generate unique forcing functions that must be understood and evaluated as part of a vibration analysis. The key monitoring parameters for V-belt-driven machinery are fault frequency and mn-ning speed. [Pg.705]

An overview of HPLC instrumentation, operating principles, and recent advances or trends that are pertinent to pharmaceutical analysis is provided in Chapter 3 for the novice and the more experienced analyst. Modern liquid chromatographs have excellent performance and reliability because of the decades of refinements driven by technical advances and competition between manufacturers in a two billion-dollar-plus equipment market. References to HPLC textbooks, reference books, review articles, and training software have been provided in this chapter. Rather than summarizing the current literature, the goal is to provide the reader with a concise overview of HPLC instrumentation, operating principles, and recent advances or trends that lead to better analytical performance. Two often-neglected system parameters—dwell volume and instrumental bandwidth—are discussed in more detail because of their impact on fast LC and small-bore LC applications. [Pg.3]

GITT also provides very comprehensive information about the kinetic parameters of the electrode by analysis of the electrical current. The current 1, which is driven through the galvanic cell by an external current or voltage source, determines the number of electroactive species added to (or taken away from) the electrode and discharged at the electrode/ electrolyte interface. A chemical diffusion process occurs within the electrode and the current corresponds to the motion of mobile ionic species within the electrode just inside the phase boundary with the electrolyte (at x = 0)... [Pg.223]

Analysis of thermodynamical parameters of LGICR have revealed that five out of six receptors are thermodynamically discriminated (Table 2.5, Fig. 2.3b). As for the glycine receptor, the agonist binding has to be classified as entropy-driven (2 < AH0... [Pg.42]

Immusoft is a software that has been developed to perform computer-driven assays in our microchips. This software has a user-friendly graphical user interface, and it enables control of the pump, the valves and the electrochemical detection system, as well as the development of specific assay protocols, the running of simultaneous or sequential experiments in eight parallel microchannels, the automatic read-out of the results and the processing of the obtained data. These different functions are managed by way of three main menus, named Method, Analysis and Results, and the software also comprises two additional items dedicated to the setting of the computing parameters and to the maintenance of the instrumentation. [Pg.894]
