That a strictly systematic application of the operational affixes of Table 11 also allows conclusive naming of hitherto neglected structural variants of the radical cation types discussed at the beginning of this section is demonstrated by two final examples... 

The same convention is used when a ring =C— is transformed to a carbonyl group, an operation that requires a hydrogen atom to be affixed to another position, as in (123) and (124). This convention does not imply added hydrogen, but only locates one whose presence is already required. Thus 2-pyridone implies C5H5NO and is a fully adequate name when it is not desired to distinguish between (123) and (124) or a mixture of the two. 

The barrel floats" on the screw, rather than being permanently affixed to the frame of the device itself. This facillitates the measurements of barrel torques and thrusts as a function of operating conditions and the type of polymer being conveyed. The internal dynamics of a short sequence in a chain is studied according to the dynamic RIS scheme. Conformational transitions with dynamic pair correlations are considered. Resistance to dynamic rearrangements resulting from environmental effects and constraints operating at the ends of a sequence are incorporated into the calculation scheme. Calculations for a short sequence in a PE chain show that pair correlations do not significantly affect the orientational relaxation of a vector affixed to a bond in the sequence. Contributions from constraints, on the other hand, are dominant and slow down the orientational motions. 

Delayed tack adhesives. These are usually heat activated to achieve the tacky state, after which they can be affixed to any item without a heat source. Most frequently the heating operation plus pressure of application are applied simultaneously, however. The tacky state remains for some time after the source of heat is removed. These are more versatile than the instant tack type, particularly in their application to bottles, tinplate, and plastics, either coated or laminated. Speeds of around 600 per min can be achieved. 

The morphology was determined using a Quanta-200 3D scanning electron microscope (SEM) operated at an accelerating voltage of 1200 V. The sample (0.5 mg) was moimted onto a 5 x 5 mm silicon wafer affixed via graphite tape to an aluminum stub. The powder was then sputter-coated for 105 s at a beam current of 20 mA/dm with a 100-A layer of gold/palladium alloy. 

The P7T ratio is a process variable or parameter to be affixed by the operator. Furthermore, it can be assumed that Pl and Py are set by back-pressure controllers on gas streams L and V. A comprehensive report should be issued upon completion of the test procedures, which should include all values measured for compliance, a listing of all test equipment, calculations, conversions, and all appropriate statistical justification along with comments pertaining to system function and operation. A dated test-completion or certification sticker should be affixed to the LAP unit referring any examining authority to the completed test report. All reports should include floor plans or maps of the clean space, which identify sample locations, probe heights. 

The employer may use signs, placards, process sheets, batch tickets, operating procedures, or other such written materials in lieu of affixing labels to individual stationary process containers, as long as the alternative method identifies the containers to which it is applicable and conveys the information required by paragraph (f)(4) of this section to be on a label. The written materials shall be readily accessible to the employees in their work area throughout each work shift. 

In case of use date extension an additional label should be affixed to the investigational medicinal product. This additional label should include the new use date and repeat the batch number. It may be superposed on the old use date, but, for quality control reasons, not on the original batch number. This operation may be performed on site by the clinical trial monitor(s) or the clinical trial site pharmacist, in accordance with specific and standard operating procedures and under contract if applicable. The operation should be checked by a second person. Documented evidence of this additional liability should be available in the trial documentation and in the batch records. 

Starting materials that are approved and accepted, shall be properly labelled as such, by means of a Green Released self adhesive label, which is to be affixed over the Yellow Quarantine label, in such a way that a small section of the Yellow Quarantine label may still be seen. This is to be carried out by the Quality Control operator.
