Multi-cycle

Physical, thermal, and chemical stability in order to reduce operating costs, solid sorbents must demonstrate stability under flue gas conditions, adsorption operation conditions, and during the multi-cycle adsorption-regeneration process. In particular, stability in the presence of water vapor is essential for the sustainable performance of the solid sorbent. In addition to thermal properties of the solid sorbent, heat capacity and thermal conductivity are also important in heat transfer operations. [Pg.119]

The voltammogram for jamesonite is given in Fig. 2.21. It can be seen that there are four obvious anodic peaks at the first cycle voltammetry. The peak current of api, aps and cp2 constantly increase with the number of cycle adding, but the peak height of ap2 and ap4 decreases at the second cycle and then keeps constant even by multi-cycle according to the experimental appearances. It was... [Pg.42]

However, this level of deactivation will be overcome by the catalyst make-up required to replace material lost to physical attrition in the fluidized bed reactors. A slight shift in the ethylene and propylene selectivities was also observed during the initial portion of this run. Characterization of the catalyst during the multi-cycle test shows that there is no change in the microporosity of the SAPO-34 molecular sieve,... [Pg.255]

Cyclic voltammetry can be used directly to establish the initial redox state of a compound if data analysis is applied in a careful manner [70]. In Fig. II.1.15, simulated and experimental cyclic voltammograms are shown as a function of the ratio of Fe(CN)g and Fe(CN) present in the solution phase. It can clearly be seen that the current at the switching potential, ix,a or fyc is affected by the mole fraction /Hred- Employing multi-cycle voltammograms at slow scan rates is recommended. Quantitative analysis of mixed redox systems with this method may be based on the plot shown in Fig. II. 1.15d. [Pg.78]

Design based on heat transfer with AT = 50 to 100 °C from the freezing temperature and stop before the eutectic temperature. Ultra-purity of solids, low throughput at 10 to 10 kg/s. Multi-cycles might be needed to yield improved purity. [Pg.102]

In multi Cycle processes, conditioning vessels are usually required between each solvent cycle, and an evaporator may also sometimes be introduced in order to keep the feed concentration to the second cycle at a low value and therefore economize in the size of the second-cycle extraction plant. [Pg.162]

A further development of the Mopac process led to the KWU Cord process (Chemical—Oxidation—Reduction-Decontamination), a multi-cycle, low-concentration process which proved to be especially suitable for the decontamination of subsystems and full reactor systems (Wille and Sato, 1994). The principles of this process are shown in Fig. 4.52. A CoRD decontamination cycle starts with an oxidation step, using a dilute solution of permanganic acid the excess Mn04 is then reduced by addition of a dicarboxylic acid, thereby generating CO2. By further addition of the dicarboxylic acid up to a concentration of about 0.2%, dissolution of the oxides starts and the metal ions are retained in the solution as complex compounds. The whole process is conducted at about 95 C it does not require a fixed number of cycles, but can be repeated according to the final radiation dose... [Pg.386]

Identify any multi-cycle paths and false paths that might exist in the design Create path groups using group path command. [Pg.117]

If you are still unable to meet timing, begin with the source HDL and re-compile using updated synthesis script that identifies multi-cycle paths and path groups. [Pg.117]

During functional mode timing analysis, there might be multi-cycle paths between the flip-flops. In the test-mode, all the flip-flops are clocked in the same cycle. Hence, perform timing analysis on the complete design after scan-insertion, without any path exceptions. Also, use the set clock skew command to account for all the delays on the different clock branches. If the clock tree is in place, use the set clock skew -propagated command. [Pg.231]

Behavioral Synthesis assigns operations to a clock cycle based on the delay of the operations and the clock period. If the delay through a single operation exceeds the clock period then the Behavioral synthesis tool will automatically make it a multi-cycle operation and not chain any additional operations with the multicycle operation. Alternatively, one can inferring pipelined components from the DW library. For example, Synopsys provided DW libraries have pipelined multipliers with different number of pipelined stages. These can be inferred when the delay though the... [Pg.286]

BC accepts both VHDLand Verilog. The behavioral HDL description is converted to an intermediate database, the Synopsys db format. In effect, an HDL written at higher level of abstraction is converted to multiple RTL implementations using behavioral synthesis. All the information about constraints and multi-cycle operations are... [Pg.288]

The CVLS algorithm can handle multi-cycle and chaining operations with minor modification. The chaining and multi-cycle operations are automatically determined by the relation between their delay and cycle period. When node is a multi-cycle operation, its ACV a should be added to FUV in step i +1 as well as that in step i. In case that node n,- is a chaining operation, the way to make ready should be modified. The chaining and multi-cycle operation are defined in a constraint file. [Pg.144]

Operation chaining is achieved by extending the time frame of operations into the previous (or next) control-step when the combined [x-opa tion delays (added to the latch and estimated interconnect delays) of the chained operations are less than the clock cycle. Multi-cycle operations are supported with a straightforward extension [5] of the single cycle methodology presented here. [Pg.257]
