Mounting brackets

Propeller/paddle mixers are used to blend or agitate liquid mixtures in tanks, pipelines, or vessels. Figure 38.1 illustrates a typical top-entering propeller/paddle mixer. This unit consists of an electric motor, a mounting bracket, an extended shaft, and one or more impeller(s) or pro-peller(s). Materials of construction range from bronze to stainless steel, which are selected based on the particular requirements of the application. 

Indicator sag is best determined by mounting the dial indicator on a piece of straight pipe of the same length as in the actual application. Zero the dial indicator at the 12 o clock, or upright, position and then rotate 180° to the 6 o clock position. The reading obtained, which will be a negative number, is the measure of the mounting-bracket indicator sag for 180° of rotation and is called the sag factor. 

There are two variations of the rim-and-face methods. One requires one rim reading and one face reading at the stationary machine, where the dial indicator mounting brackets and posts are attached to the machine to be shimmed. The other method is identical, except that the rim and face readings are taken at the machine to be shimmed, where the dial indicator mounting brackets and posts are attached to the stationary machine. 

A hot alignment check is performed exactly like an ambient alignment check with the added safety precautions required for hot machinery. The accuracy of a hot alignment check depends on how soon after shutdown dial indicator readings can be taken. Readings may be taken within a few minutes with the use of shaft-mounted brackets that span a flexible coupling. To speed up the process, assemble the brackets to the fullest extent possible prior to shutdown so that they need only be bolted to the shafts once the machine stops rotating. 

Other security features that can be implemented on aboveground, outdoor equipment enclosures include locks, mounting brackets, tamper-resistant doors, and exterior lighting.

B. Remove the screws holding the motherboard to the mounting brackets. 

Fashion a number of mounting brackets from cardboard. The brackets should be of such size that they will fit into the slot in the infrared spectrometer s sample compartment. Cut a rectangular hole that is about 1 inch by 0.5 inch, in the center of each bracket. This is the window through which the infrared light beam will pass and where the polymer film will be located.

The standardized housing body contains the electronic module and is sealed with a cap. It has to be flexible enough to accommodate all sensor modules, including any additional functions, and should not need to be changed to accommodate individual parts, like the mounting brackets or the electrical interface, specified by the individual automotive customer. 

The M48/49 has a pilot-mounted, motor blower, does not require an aircraft-mounting bracket, and can operate continuously for 8 hours on a single battery. The M49 will replace the M24 protective mask, as the general aviator s mask. The M48 will replace the M43 mask and will be worn only by Apache Helicopter Aviators. Well install together the module with trim cover bracket and instrument panel mounting bracket with four M5 bolts. After the installation of the entire instrument assembly to the vehicle, tightly fix the PAB module to the vehicle transverse beam with 2 matted M6 bolts at the glove box site.

Wall-mounted brackets. Counters may be mounted with heavy-duty commercial shelf brackets and standards. Shelving of this type is seen in many retail store shelving units. 

Measurements are performed according to descriptions made in Sections 21.4.2.3 and 21.4.2.4. No antireflective coating has been applied on the prototypes because of time limitations. An aluminium foil was disposed at the rear face of the prototypes, onto the mounting bracket platform. Obtained results are presented in Rg. 21.23. For the lamp producing a reference power of 1000 W/m, it is noticeable that in the conditions of maximum exposure (angle fi = 90 degree), the prototype transmits a power output of about 1.4 W/m. ... 

Employers should consult the manufacturer (and/or look to see if the equipment has mounting brackets, etc.). Also, a hazard assessment should be conducted if the machine could move during operation, then it must be secured. 

Store cylinders in a secluded but easily accessible location. Avoid humid places where rust can form on the caps or cylinders, and locations heated by oven exhaust. It is a good idea to establish extra tiedown storage sites near the supply cylinder. This is an excellent way to store safely the extra cylinder during the changing process. Bolt cylinder brackets to a wall or bench. Brackets with screw clamps work but can become loose with long-term use. Wall-mounted brackets with 1-3-cylinder capacity are available. A properly secnred cylinder cart is a safe alternative. 

Insulate the electrode and electrical connections from the operator or mounting bracket.
