Money goals

For every 20 increase, the number of tenants is going to decrease by three. Write the number of apartments that will be paying rent as 100 - 3x. You write the income from rents as the money charged times the number of units, so now you can write an equation setting the total rent money goal of 42,000 equal to the new rent amount, 400 + 20x, times the new number of apartments being rented, 100 - 3x. 

People claim they no longer need a feeling of accomplishment. They have fulfilled career and money goals. Except for a few humanistic desires, entertaining themselves is what retirement is about. 

Choose goals that will make a difference but that are actually achievable with the resources you have, people power and money. Goals should be measurable. There should be short-term goals, which will give the organization positive reinforcement and credibility, as well as more ambitious long-term goals. Start small and work your way up. 

Color Concentrates. Color concentrates have become the method of choice to incorporate colorants into resins. Color concentrates have high ratios of colorant to a compatible vehicle. The colorant may be added at 70% colorant to 30% vehicle in a titanium dioxide mixture whereas the ratio may be 15% colorant to 85% vehicle in a carbon black mixture. The amount of colorant that can be added is dependent on the surface area and the oil absorption of the colorant and the wetting abiHty of the vehicle. The normal goal is to get as much colorant in the concentrate as possible to obtain the greatest money value for the product. Furthermore, less added vehicle minimizes the effect on the physical or chemical properties of the resin system. 

Optimization of a process is an activity whereby the best conditions are found for attainment of a maximum or minimum of some desired objective. In the broadest sense, an industrial process has maximum profit as its goal, but there are also problems with less-ambitious goals that do not involve money or the whole plant. 

There is basically one goal for the partnership, with possible side benefits. The goal is to save money. When all the dust settles, that is it. However, there are associated benefits, the best of which is to minimize or even do away with adversarial relationships. It may be wishful thinking to believe that these will be completely eliminated. A related, but very important, benefit is to build trust between the parties. This is necessary to achieve the goal.

In many cases, a refiner decides to revamp a cat cracker and employ a new technology without first identifying the unit s mechanical and process limitations. Sometimes money is spent to relieve a constraint and the unit hits another constraint almost immediately. Failure to perform a proper constraint analysis of the existing operation can result in focusing on the wrong issues for the revamp. In addition, the revamp goals must match the refinery s overall objectives.

The new Biocidal Products Directive is examined, which closes the gap in European legislation for products such as disinfectants and anti-foulants where there has not, until now, been a Europe-wide standard. There was a time when the primary concerns of the product engineers were the needs of the buyers and consumers of their products, and they concentrated most of their efforts on design and manufacture of products with the goal of meeting their requirements and approval. A product will certainly fail if it does not have the steady and continued confidence of the consumers. The CPI, just like any other industry at that time, were accountable mostly to the consumers. This was a two-party transaction, where the buyer gave the seller money in return for a satisfactory product.
