Moderate risk

Risk consists of two components the probabiUty of the accident and the consequence. It is not possible to completely characterize risk without both of these components. Thus, a hazard could have low probabiUty of accident but high consequence or vice versa. The result for both cases is moderate risk.

Moderate-risk patients with negative biochemical markers may initially undergo a noninvasive stress test, with only those having a positive test proceeding to angiography. 

In patients with NSTE ACS, clinical practice guidelines recommend either PCI or coronary artery bypass grafting revascularization as an early treatment for high-risk patients, and that such an approach also be considered for moderate-risk patients. An early invasive approach results in fewer Mis, less need for revascularization procedures over the next year after hospitalization, and lower cost than the conservative medical stabilization approach. 

For children receiving chemotherapy of high or moderate risk, a corticosteroid plus SSRI should be administered. The best doses or dosing strategy has not been determined. 

Tier 2 review A routine labeling and scientific review of submissions for products associated with moderate risk. This type of review would include evaluation of data to substantiate product performance claims.

Benzodiazepines are commonly prescribed as anxiolytics and sleep medications. They represent a moderate risk for abuse, which has to be weighed against their beneficial effects. It can also spontaneously react with chlorates and perchlorates with a moderate risk of expin... 

There are three basic principles of investing 1) risk and how risk regulates the rate of return, 2) how diversification moderates risk, and 3) growth through compounding, which is even better when it is tax deferred.
