The design or simulation of FCC units involves numerically solving the above 21 equations and relations (7.25) to (7.45). The solution process will be discussed later. For the simulation of industrial units and the verification of this model for industrial data, the majority of these 21 equations are used to calculate various parameters in the 10 equations numbered (7.29) to (7.38). Specifically, equations (7.33) to (7.35) compute the concentration and temperature profiles in the bubble phase of the reactor and equation (7.38) computes the temperature profile in the regenerator. The three models give good agreement with the results for the industrial methanators investigated. Validation of models against industrial data in this case is made difficult by the inaccuracy of industrially reported carbon monoxide and dioxide exit concentrations, which should be reported in ppm. Toxicity Data on Af- Vinyl-2-Pyrrolidinone. Results of a chronic inhalation study in rats warrant a review of industrial hygiene practices to assure that VP vapor concentrations are maintained at a safe level. One of the manufacturers, ISP, recommends that an appropriate workplace exposure limit be set at 0.1 ppm (vapor) (9). Additionally, normal hygienic practices and precautions are recommended, such as prompt removal from skin and avoidance of ingestion. Filtration is employed when the suspended soUds concentration is less than 100 mg/L and high effluent clarity is required. Finely dispersed suspended soUds require the addition of a coagulant prior to filtration.
