Indicators priorities

The evaluation of options under consideration is based on the selection of respective conditions to be satisfied as defined in individual cases. There are two groups of cases. Single indicator priority with other weighting factors having the same values and second group includes those cases with priority given stepwise change in pairs defined by economic and capital indicators. 

Can these data be used to suggest process improvements The overall efficiency of the process is low, indicating good potential for improvement. The sources of lost work indicate priorities for brainstorming. Clearly the reboiler is the first segment on which to focus.

When an alkene possesses nonsimilar groups, the stereodescriptors E and Z must be used. 2 indicates priority groups on the same side, while E indicates priority groups on opposite sides.

If the same alkyl group occurs more than once as a side chain, this is indicated by the prefixes di-, tri-, tetra-, etc. Side chains are cited in alphabetical order (before insertion of any multiplying prefix). The name of a complex radical (side chain) is considered to begin with the first letter of its complete name. Where names of complex radicals are composed of identical words, priority for citation is given to that radical which contains the lowest-numbered locant at the first cited point of difference in the radical. If two or more side chains are in equivalent positions, the one to be assigned the lowest-numbered locant is that cited first in the name. The complete expression for the side chain may be enclosed in parentheses for clarity or the carbon atoms in side chains may be indicated by primed locants. 

The position of substituents is indicated by numbers, with the lowest locant possible given to substituents. When a name is based on a recognized trivial name, priority for lowest-numbered locants is given to substituents implied by the bivial name. When only two substituents are present on a benzene ring, their position may be indicated by o- ortho-), m- meta-), and p- (para-) (and alphabetized in the order given) used in place of 1,2-, 1,3-, and 1,4-, respectively. 

For cyclic radicals, indicated hydrogen and thereafter the point of attachment (free valency) have priority for the lowest available number. 

Both differential and ground relaying detect ground faults. Ground-fault protection is located at the starter and protects the cable and the motor differential CTs are located at the motor and protect the motor only. Economic priorities indicate ground-fault protec tion first, adding differential protection when justified by potential savings in downtime and repair costs. 

Use the material balance for each unit operation to pinpoint the problem areas associated with a process. The material-balance exercise may have brought to light the origin of wastes with high treatment costs, or may indicate which wastes are causing process problems in which operations. The material balance should be used to set priorities for long-term waste reduction. 

Due to local or national priorities, technical developments, and climatic regions, in some cases a higher thermal quality (fewer dissatisfied) or a lower quality (more dissatisfied) may be sufficient. In both cases the PMV and PPD indices, the model of draft, and the relation between local thermal discomfort parameters and the expected percentage of dissatisfied people may be used to determine different ranges of parameters for the evaluation and design of the thermal environment. 

As indicated previously, PSM information and messages have different values for different audiences. Your company s workforce has a more immediate and specific interest in the initiative than people who are less directly affected, such as plant neighbors, shareholders, or the general public. This doesn t mean confining communications efforts solely to company employees it simply suggests that you organize communications priorities to reflect levels of interest and information needs. 

Generation was normally modeled m system studies using economic dispatch schedules developed from individual unit fuel cost and heat-rate data. To serve a particular load level, the units would be stacked (added to the system) in order of priority based on cost and performance. Additional capacity options were available from off-system purchases or reserve sharing arrangements with neighboring systems. A system s ability to import power was a strong indicator of its territorial rcscivc requirements. 

It takes practice to be able to visualize and orient a molecule in three dimensions. You might start by indicating where the observer must be located—180° opposite the lowest-priority group. Then imagine yourself in the position of the observer, and redraw what you would see.
