Highest standard

We aim for total customer satisfaction. Customers are those who buy our products our suppliers, our staff, and all people with whom we have contact. We will treat each other with care and respect and strive for excellence in all we do to provide a high level of service to all customers, internal and external. We will thereby provide finished products and services to the highest standards of quality, safety, reliability, and durability. 

Materials used must be of the highest standard, complying as necessary with the appropriate British Standard. 

Grade A is the highest standard, and is required for local zones where high-risk tasks are carried out. Examples are the aseptic filling of a product following filtration through a 0.22 pm filter to render it sterile, and general aseptic manipulations. This is usually achieved by the use of cabinets or hoods that enable laminar airfiow patterns to be established. 

An update of a previous study (Axelson et al. 1978), Axelson (1986) evaluated an expanded cohort of 1,424 men (levels of trichloroethylene exposure inferred from measured urinary metabolite concentrations) and found a significant increase in incidences of bladder cancer and lymphomas, and a lower than expected incidence of total cancer mortality. A further update of this work (Axelson et al. 1994) expanded the cohort to include 249 women, tracking cancer morbidity over 30 years, and found no correlation between exposure concentration or exposure time and cancer incidence at any site. The highest standardized incidence ratio noted in this study was 1.56 (95% Cl of 0.51-3.64) for 5 cases of non-Hodgkin s lymphoma observed in men. Although four of these cases occurred in persons exposed for at least 2 years, and 3 cases had a latency of 10 years or more, urinary levels of TCA showed that 4 of the 5 cases were exposed to the lowest levels of trichloroethylene (urinary levels of TCA 0-49 mg/L). The study authors mentioned that a urinary TCA level below 50 mg/L corresponds to a trichloroethylene exposure concentration of about 20 ppm. The study authors concluded that "this study provides no evidence that trichloroethylene is a human carcinogen, i.e., when the exposure is as low as for this study population."... 

On the other hand, there are undoubtedly strict devotees of organic standards who make it clear that they are morally superior and that conventional methods of farming are cheap and nasty. This may be irritating as well as untrue, but there is no doubt that such devotees can be relied on to maintain the highest standards at all times. 

The advice for most modern spectrometers is not to spin. A little time spent in decent sample preparation makes this unnecessary. From experience in the real world, we have found that sample preparation is not always of the highest standard and spinning may help to correct this to some extent. In the end, for a workhorse 400 MHz system with an ordinary probe, it is a pragmatic decision based on your individual needs. If you are lucky enough to have a high performance probe then it is best not to spin. 

Samples with back-calculated values between 1.0 and 2.0 times the highest standard in the selected range are reportable by extending the calibration line up to 2 times the high standard. 

Samples found to have analyte concentrations more than 2 times the highest standard in the regression set are not reportable these samples must be reassayed after dilution or along with a standard curve that has higher concentrations so that the sample is within 2 times the highest standard. 

If, as with Unk 2, the value is above the highest standard, then the sample may be diluted and measured. In this case, the concentration must be corrected for the amount of dilution. Similarly, in some cases when the concentration of an unknown is lower than the lowest standard, the solution can be concentrated and reanalyzed. 

It is, however, pertinent to mention here that pharmaceutical chemicals must maintain a very high degree of chemical purity. It is quite obvious that a state of absolute purity may not be achievable, but a sincere effort must be exercised to obtain the maximum freedom from foreign substances. Bearing in mind the exorbitant operational costs to attain the highest standards of purity, perhaps some of these processes are not economically viable. Therefore, a compromise has got to be made to strike a balance between the purity of a substance at a reasonably viable cost and at the same time its purity e.g.. being fully acceptable for all pharmaceutical usages. 

The steady expansion of interest in electrochemical science and technology creates the need for a monograph series of the highest standards for the experienced reader. The purpose of the Advances in Electrochemical Science and Engineering series is to provide high-quality advanced revie vs of topics of both fundamental and practical importance.

The most important of these is the regulatory environment in which the industry works. In a series of judgements resulting from isolated cases of poor laboratory practice the regulatory authorities of many countries, particularly the United States, have defined a strict code of practice for the industry to ensure that the highest standards of development and manufacture are observed by all... 

Low degree of confidence The human or animal studies fall short of the highest standards in some important respects. Consider the need to generate more data, either on effects or on exposure, to increase the degree of confidence or, alternatively, use a larger UF (value not further specified). 

As citizens of the modem world and as consumers in a comfortable society, we have come to expect the highest standards of quality in all aspects of our lives. When we buy a new car, we expect that we can drive it for tens of thousands of miles free from defects in workmanship. When we elect our government officials and pay our taxes, we expect a responsive government, schools with high academic standards, air and water free of pollution, and an infrastructure that is solid and in good repair. When we pay our utility bills, we expect to always have electricity, heat, water, and a working sewer system for our homes. A quality lifestyle means excellence in consumer products, environment, health and safety, government services, and so on. 

The specimen will be the basis for the analytic analysis. Is it RNA or DNA What is the origin of the tissue Amniocentesis Was it a spontaneous product of conception Were anatomic pathology slides or tissue blocks prepared Are cell lines involved Are these primary or immortalized Was a chorionic villus sampling procedure done Is the sample properly collected peripheral blood The answers to each of these questions should be noted, and considered part of the validation of a useful nucleic acid extraction method. A molecular diagnostics laboratory should adhere to the highest standards in providing services, and prior validation of applicable nucleic acid extraction procedures is a must to ensure high-quality service. 

As a professional organization, one of the roles of the American Chemical Society is to present chemistry in a positive light. To promote the highest standards among its members, the ACS has adopted a code of conduct. The code presents basic principles to guide the action and responsibilities of chemists. 

Nuclear power is virtually unlimited, so it won t run out over time as fossil fuels will. Not all countries will follow the highest standards of safety.

One concludes that to qualify as the rds, it is not which step has the highest activation standard free energy with respect to the energy of the previous state that is important, but which step has the highest standard free energy of the activated state compared with that of the initial state. 

A calibration curve is recorded for each batch of samples (e.g., 100 pi, 50 pi, 25 pi, and 0 pi standard solution). The curve is plotted and results are calculated. Urines with absorptions exceeding the highest standard are diluted and remeasured.
