Bring the water temperature to at least 140F while stirring with moderate agitation. 

Add the Neodol ethoxylate, then slowly add the Gantrez AN-149 powder, while bringing the mixture temperature to 190F. Continue stirring with moderate agitation until the mixture becomes clear. At this point, the stabilizer reaction is complete. 

When the solution is clear, add the potassium hydroxide while sti rri ng.

Coordinated phosphate and phosphate-based derivations are designed for use with high-quality (demineralized or equivalent) FW in higher pressure WT boilers, for industrial, power, and cogeneration application. 

In the experience of the present author, minor deviations from this procedure may result in decreased yields. The Kola deposits, operated by P.O. Apatit, formed the core of FSU phosphate rock and fertilizer production capabilities. In 1989, P.O. Apatit produced about 20 million tonnes of phosphate rock [661. The P.O. Apatit production estimate for 1993 was about 8.5 million tonnes. Due to the drop in demand and to rationalization and privatization, mines and several processing plants have been closed. The downturn of the Kola industry (and Russian economy) is also intimately intertwined with FSU sedimentary phosphate rock production and the fertilizer industry based on this rock. The production of many fertilizer plants in the P U used high-quality phosphoric add feedstock produced from Kola apatite and locally obtained lower grade sedimentary phosphate rock to produce off-grade TSP products. 

There are now several hundred organophosphorus or organic phosphate tire retardants described in the patent literature. Although most of these are considerably more expensive than anunonium phosphate, their use is often commercially justified, particularly with high-quality fabrics. Their mode of action in many cases is probably at least partially similar to that of ammonium... 

Saytex and NcendX are the cornerstone of Albemarle s portfolio from the late 1990s with a 50,000 tpa expansion for Saytex RB-100 material, demand for which had been increasing at 7-10% a year. A more recent addition has been Saytex CP-2000, a continuous process, and high quality tetrabrominated product and NcendX P30, abisphenol A based phosphate product being targeted at the PC/ABS materials, with a 12,000 tpa unit opened in early 2000. 

In spite of some suggestions to use the R-doped calcium phosphates for dosimetry it is still far from competing with the high-quality TLDs like the Tm- and Dy-doped CaS04.
