Validation of performance on installation, planned maintenance, and frequent checks on performance are essential for critical items of equipment such as sterilizers, air filtration systems, and stills. For example, checks on steam and hot air sterilizers should include heat distribution and heat penetration studies, and on air supply systems, tests of filter efficiency. The decision to withdraw the MA provided for in Article 11 of this Law is notified to the party concerned giving the reasons justifying it. It is enforceable immediately. The party concerned may appeal to the attention of the Minister of Public Health in the form of a memorandum and can obtain the reasons for that decision. The appeal shall be subject to a decision following a new study made by the Technical Committee for proprietary medicinal products and if necessary after having convoked or duly convoking the party 3 months from the decision notifying the withdrawal.
