The issue of power consumption of an OLED display panel changing with the information content has not been well addressed in the OLED field. For AMLCD display panel, the power consumption is almost independent of the information content. For an AMOLED or an AMPLED panel, the power consumption is directly proportional to the number of pixels lighting up. For each display pixel, the power consumption is nearly proportional to the level of brightness (gray level). Thus, AMOLED display only consumes the power necessary, without any waste. As we already know, in Step 6 of the DQO process the planning team will be mainly concerned with the uncertainty of decisions based on the mean sample concentrations that are close to the action level. Collecting a greater number of samples to better approximate the true concentration will reduce this uncertainty. However, this may not be feasible due to increased sampling and analysis costs. The uncertainty associated with decisions based on the mean sample concentrations that are close to the action level is addressed in the DQO process through a concept of the gray region.

The definitions and criteria that determine whether a chemical falls within the scope of the CWC or not, leaves a large number of chemicals in the gray area. One example of a group of chemicals that are excluded from the OCAD on the basis of purposes not prohibited under this Convention , is given by the Riot Control Agents . There are other examples, which need to be addressed in the future to determine how they can be regulated by the CWC as these have been seen to be very useful in the verification activities of the OPCW. Efforts are underway to find a way for the inclusion in the OCAD, of chemicals that are relevant to the CWC but are not covered by the schedule list (Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) and Validation Group (VG)).

There is, in the preceding text, the notion that biochemical imbalances or abnormalities are caused by many factors and may be counteracted or relieved by factors other than drugs or medicines. This is the premise of traditional psychiatry. It is a gray area, whether or not to use the drugs of biochemical psychiatry, which may be regarded as only an expediency and do not address root causes. There are, of course, the variables of dosage levels and length of medication, coupled with the fact that each individual case is probably uniqne. There is the question of will, of whether to confront life or run from life, a yes-or-no choice that may appear simple but is not simple at all.
