In the body, proteins are built up by a series of reactions that in general produce a specific sequence of amino adds. Even tiny errors in this sequence may have serious effects. Among the genetic diseases known to be caused by improper sequencing are hemophilia, sickle cell anemia, and albinism. Sickle cell anemia is caused by the substitution of one valine unit for a glutamic add unit in a chain containing 146 monomers.

In a series of papers, personnel from Novartis and the University of Basel in Switzerland have highlighted the pros and cons of neural networks for immediate release tablets [37-40]. In other studies neural networks have been found useful in modeling tablet formulations of antacids [41], plant extracts [42], theophylline [43], and diltiazem [44]. In a recent paper Lindberg and Colbourn [45] have used neural networks, genetic algorithms, and neurofuzzy to successfully analyze historical data from three different immediate-release tablet formulations. 

Chronology is not the only contentious issue debates over the interpretation of morphological and genetic data are as contentious as that of dating. While the anatomical classification of hominids is often problematic and can take a subjective slant, the dating is in theory objective and absolute. The following examples, which have been selected to illustrate these issues are exemplars of the current debate, and cover the major issues noted above specifically from the perspective of U-series dating. 

Cluster headache disorders are the most uncommon and severe primary headache syndromes.9 The estimated point prevalence is less than 1%. Unlike migraine and TTH, cluster headaches occur more frequently in men. Onset commonly occurs prior to age 30.6 A genetic predisposition seems apparent, although affected individuals often provide a history of tobacco use and alcohol abuse.6 Attacks consist of debilitating, unilateral head pains that occur in series lasting up to months at a time, but that remit over months to years between occurrences. In rare instances, cluster headache can be a chronic disorder without remissions.4...
