Functionals INDEX

Newer and potentially better hepatic function index continues to captivate researchers. A recent report indicates that hippurate ratio is a good measure of functional hepatocyte capacity [13]. The procedure monitors the conjugation of glycine to p-aminobenzoic acid by liver enzymes and may provide unique information on functional hepatic reserve.

Example Quizalofop—In the generic name index, this compound was found to be a phenoxy carboxylic acid and a quinoxaline. Quizalofop, therefore, appears twice in the chemical function index, once under the heading phenoxy carboxylic acids and once under quinoxalines. Clinical analysis of the tear film has become increasingly more developed. ETA indices are an extension of the TAU indices (or Topochemically Arrived Unique indices) [Pal, Purkayastha et al, 1992 Pal, Sengupta et al, 1988,1989,1990], which were defined some years before in the framework of a previous version of the Valence Electron Mobile environment (VEM environment). TAU indices are calculated from previous definitions of core count and VEM count and include four indices the composite topochemical index, denoted by T (similar to the composite ETA index), the functionality index, denoted by F, the skeletal index, denoted by Tr, and the simple branching index, denoted by B. In QSAR studies, these indices were used in combination with —> STIMS indices, connectivity indices, and some information indices [Roy, Pal et al, 1999, 2001]. 

If we need only one of the LI NEST outputs in a calculation, it may be extracted by the function =INDEX(array, row, column), without having to display the entire array. There are several performance tests for the return of motor function. One of the most often used is the Sciatic Function Index (SFT) derived by de Medinaceli et al. (1982) from a series of measurements of the walking gait of the rat. This index has been modified by Bain et al. (1989) for analysis of foot prints after peroneal nerve injury, and is known as the Peroneal Function Index (PFI). We and others have found that the quantitative analysis of toespread and of print length is more reliable indicator of recovery from peroneal nerve crush than is the PFI (Hare et al., 1993 Strand et al., 1993b).
