Foaming Acid Cleaner

Monoalkyl phosphate and phosphate esters are special types of phosphoms-contain-ing anionic surfactants that are of great industrial importance. They are used for flameproofing, as antistatic for textiles, for foam inhibition, as an extreme pressure (EP) lubricant additive, as a surfactant component for alkaline, and as acid cleaners and for special cosmetic preparations (5). The commercially available phosphate ester products are complex mixtures of monoester and diester, free phosphoric acid, and free nonionic. 

In this high foaming alkaline cleaner using DDBSA (Dodecyl-benzene sulfonic acid), Phosphoteric T-C6 clarifies the system at 2.0% active. Triton BG-10, Dowfax 2A1 or SXS will clarify the system only when used at concentrations of greater than 4.0%...

Detergent intermediate. Neutralized, a high foaming, economical surfactant widely used in products such as dishwashing liquids, all-purpose cleaners, degreasers, acid cleaners, and a multitude of industrial cleaner applications. Effective in acidic cleaners.
