Japp et al. (1987) to develop a GC system to separate these compounds. A baseline separation was obtained but also under these conditions both compounds eluted closely together. To be able to rely on retention times it was necessary to check regularly the chromatographic resolution of the column before investigating unknowns. This was done by injecting a mixture of LSD and LAMP A or retention markers such as noscapine or etodroxizine, which elute between the two compounds of interest. [Pg.126]
