Enforcement Management Model

From the UML model, code is generated to customize the functionality provided by the AHEAD system. For example, the project manager may instantiate only the domain-specific classes and associations defined in the class diagrams. The core system as presented in this section enforces consistency with the process model definition. In this way, we can make sure that design proceeds according to the domain-specific model. A more flexible approach will be discussed in the next section (extending process evolution beyond consistency-preserving instance-level evolution). 

While this Safety Management Cycle is used during enforcement actions, it is also an excellent model for structuring a safety program. 

Since different stakeholder groups have different expectations and different information requirements about the corporate sustainability , it is essential to investigate the practical ways that corporations can best implement its initiatives to promote the corporate sustainability with respect to their many target stakeholders. For example, Kujala (2010) in the Finnish study concluded that in order to enforce corporate responsibility, it should be possible to assure managers that there is a business case for stakeholder inclusion, and that stakeholder collaboration can create business models that are beneficial for all parties the corporation and its owners, other stakeholders and society as a whole. 

In both cases, part of the functions will be executed in a more predictable way (under a stronger failure or timeliness model), while other functions, the complex ones, will execute in a less predictable part of the system. The system separation in two parts makes it easier to enforce the properties assumed for the better part, while safety is ensured by making the system adjustable at run-time the complex functions will only be used for control when a certain set of assumptions is satisfied. For that, the system must encompass a safety manager that observes relevant variables, verifies if predefined safety rules (assumptions) are met, and adjusts the system configuration and operation whenever necessary.
