In sections 1.7- 1.9 we have examined effects of surface charging in semiconductor adsorbent on electrophysical characteristics of the adsorbent. Although we did not go into details with respect to the crystalline origin of adsorbent, the consideration of effect of adsorption on electric conductivity of surface-adjacent layer led to conclusion that we considered monocrystalline samples.

In the earlier study of copper tetraphenylporphine (CuTPP) formation in an anionic 0/W mlcroemulslon, the rate of reaction was greatly accelerated by the addition of quinoline. We have therefore extended our electrochemical measurements to Include studies of the copper(II) - quinoline system in an anionic micro-emulsion, supplemented by some additional kinetic data. We report here the results of these studies, as well as some supplementary investigations dealing with the effect of surface charge and the nature of the surfactant counterion in Interfacial processes. 

The migration will be more pronounced the more monomer-swollen the particles are. Monomer may be found in the locality of the charged surface, adjoining the adsorbed emulsifier molecules, giving a shielding effect of surface charge. 

The reasons for the divergent effects of surface charge on TMB and ZnTPP photoionization yields in vesicular suspensions are unknown.
