Endlinked PDMS. Linear polydimethylsiloxanes with vinyl endgroups were supplied by Dow Corning Corporation. Three different molecular weight ranges were employed. Bets received her Bachelor s degree in biology from Stanford University and her PhD in neurochemistry from Washington University (St. Louis). She was a postdoctoral fellow at the U.S. National Institutes of Health and after stints at the Dow-Corning Corporation and Washington State University, she moved to the Oregon Graduate Institute (OGI) in 1977. At the time of her death, Bets was a Research Professor in the Department of Environmental and Biomolecular Systems...
