Distributing music

Another very important physical parameter one must consider is the size distribution of the colloids. A system consisting of particles of the same size is called a monodis-perse. A system with different sizes is called polydisperse. It is also obvious that systems with monodisperse will exhibit different properties from those of polydispersed systems. In many industrial application (such as coating on tapes used for recording music and coatings on CDs or DVDs), latter kind of quality of coatings is needed.

In the real world, consequence stimuli do not necessarily follow every occurrence of the response. In fact, typically, consequences follow the response on an intermittent basis. Paychecks, for example, are typically distributed on a weekly, biweekly, or even monthly basis, not after each instance of work-related activity that occurs. The pianist plays the entire piece of music before the audience applauds. This strategy of intermittent reinforcement of responding actually provides greater behavioral efficiency and economy as well as greater response strength and persistence than does continuous reinforcement. A response that has been reinforced after every occurrence declines much more rapidly when reinforcement is withheld (extinction) than does one that has been reinforced on an intermittent schedule.

Following this principle, the music video has influenced commercials and the feature film. The commercial has influenced the action-adventure film, and the TV situation comedy has become a standard in the feature film, both in the action-adventure genre and in the romantic comedy feature film. Even the police story has dipped into the TV sitcom genre. My point here is to note the transmigration of form across genres, across distribution systems. Media presentations have morphed and blurred the lines between media presentation and distribution systems. A lot has changed. This has enormous implications for the short film. 

Hoffmann and Laszlo have suggested that chemistry is more like music than like mathematics in its parting with deductive rigor. To represent or to explain a molecule, like camphor, for example, the chemist may call on different representations. .. Any of these figures, or a ball and stick model, a space filling model, or an electronic-distribution model, may be best for the occasion. Which of these representations. .. is right Which is the molecule . .. All of them are models, representations suitable for some purposes, not for others. ..
